I loved that show. My dad was a pilot, had a little Aeronca chief he taught me to fly. He would rent a plane for the weekend and fly his buddies from work to Atlantic city or the Bahamas all the time. If he was still around we'd be on our way to AK.

We used to fly in and out, then it got too more expensive and the road got better and we got a truck. Had some interesting flights for sure.

Some of the best times of my life. Best part was the airstrip was just 2 miles down the road so anytime we wanted to get away from everything it was right there. Nobody going to bother you in a 2 seat airplane with no radio lol.
