The river is so small and quick that fly fishing is out. I run 10 pound braid on a medium heavy spinning rod with Mepps [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] or Panther Martin [HASHTAG]#6[/HASHTAG] spinners. throw the right cast and use the drift in your favor, and they charge it like bulldogs. Some fish can be stubborn and might take 5-10 good passes before they get pissed off and hammer it. Then the games begin in the quick current with downed trees everywhere. :D
the chase be on

This sounds like about as much fun as one could have.

Its a harsh run due to neck injury and the country is really bad, but I live for the trout run!! Amazing savage country that place is. A wanted to bring a friend mine to the place and he wanted to, but his cousin was up from ohio and also wanted to fish. I told him I know a spot but the land is really rough. His cousin laughed and said, you guys should see some of the country we fish in Ohio. Okay great then! By the end of the run(at the falls) his cousin was whipped(so was I hahaha), and then I said "Okay all we have to do now is climb that giant hill, and walk 4 miles out of here" :D
One for the spots while walking on the river you have to walk on top of knocked down pine trees for approximately 50 yards. Its crazy. Hell of an adventure every time you go!

I got the munchies and I'm to lazy to make breakfast
Help yourself to some franknshake.
