Good Morning AFN
Below are all the components for my future aeroponic build .The pump and air stone are my addition . I have a question that perhaps you can help me with . The pond mister can only run a maximum of 8 to 10 hours . I propose to run it 15 min on 45 min off . This of course is dependant on how long a plant can go without moisture . Your suggestions of course are more than welcome as I need to be able to set a timer for the on / off cycle. Thank you . View attachment 729216
I suggest a second fogger and timer, run them 30/30 minutes, one on and one off. I also reccomend a float for both foggers so they are always at the right water level. The don't work as well underwater. Cool set up. Tag me in your journal ... LOL

My main concern is that the plants never dry. This fogger can fill a 63 litre tote in 15 min and it never realy disapates . The grow stone will absorb and hold water as well. Good idea about the floater .

Thanks, you might be surprised how fast it dissipates when holes are cut in the lid. One may work, two may push a stream of fog out the netpots!
edit: Typically the fog would stay inside, but if you have open netpots or holes, air will travel in and displace the fog. Wet air will seek dry air, and temperature differntial inside vs. outside will force air flow. Seal that bitch up tight if you want it to stay in, probably require some timer adjustment. With my solo cup ebb and flow, i let them dry out for 2 hour intervals, but only after it was older. When it was a baby I never let it dry. I think that was a mistake, and slowed it down.
