Very curious about clones.
Did you get her to root? If so, what was your process??![]()
Thinking this might have been directed at me? If not, well here it goes anyways. I've only cloned 3 different rounds in my time however all have been successful. Here is my method
Take a lower cutting about a half inch below a node and put it straight into a glass of 5.5PH water
Soak peat pucks in a tray in 5.5PH water till fully saturated. Dump off excess water. I use a bit of GP Vitathrive and GH Rapid in my water as well.
Remove a cutting from the glass of water and cut the stem on a 45 degree angle about a quarter inch below a node. I also clean up the node with the scissors and put a couple shallow slashes in the node area with the sharp scissors.
Dip the lower inch or so into rooting powder, then into the peat pucks. I pinch the pucks so the branch is firm and not loose in the puck.
Once all in pucks and in the tray, I mist with 5.5PH water (this time only GP Vitathrive added). Mist the dome lid as well
Cover with the dome and leave under low intensity lighting. My first two rounds I just used a single T5, last round I put it in my cob tent but they were quite sheltered from the lights.
Try to maintain approx 80 f
Start with the vent fully closed, then each day for a week I quickly completely open it once a day to refresh the air and give them a good mist. I also mist the dome lid each time. I also slowly open each vent so that by day 7 or 8 they are fully open. I have once needed to add a bit of water on day 5 into the tray to saturate the peat pucks however the first 2 times not.
Once roots are coming out of the peat pucks I plant into 6" pots and give them a light feeding with veg base nutes, vitathrive, and gh rapid. If you've done things right the bottom of the pucks should like like hellrazors head.
Slowly introduce to more light (I aim for around 150-200PPFD to start)and water as normal.
Worked for me so far, let me know if you have any questions. I probably forgot something
