Only did the ice fishing deal once. Didn't like the sound of the ice cracking under my feet when we were over 80 feet of water. We don't get thick ice every year.

we get lots of ice most years...some years we get around 4 feet, some years its 2 feet..plenty safe for sure, fire me a tag when you get some pics bud!

I caught 4 lake trout over 36" last season....one was caught on 3 pound test line while finesse fishing for picky walleye!!

Wooooowwwwwwww

Now that's a monster catch!!

I would have loved to see you hauling that in

Has anyone used a fogger from House of Hydro??? Thinking about this for dry winter months but dont want to spend the $200, unless it works. I want to raise RH in a 6x3x8 closet, from 30% to 70%ish.

Doing well buddy....I've got a pork shoulder in the oven...it smells GREAT in here!
That sounds good. I'd take a pulled pork sammy. Looks like we might be heading into town to get some food. Some chicken soup or beef stew to stay warm over the weekend.

my buddy took a video...when i landed it i said "Shit yes,,, 3 pound test!!" Ever since then i have not used 3 pound test in that spot because big lake trout come in pretty much every day...nice to pull that species in while fishing for smaller/mid sized walleye. Walleye are usually only 16-20" fish in that spot, but we average around a dozen fish per man per day

That sounds incredible thinking I might have to go do the same

Nice!

I went to Lake Michigan once & the captain told us to only put down riggers down 40 feet, bunch of 24" salmon. We lowered to 90 and caught his biggest haul for the tear. LOL

Soup is great for those cold days!!

Yea...I'll make pulled pork sandwiches tonight...then tommorow with the left over pork, I'll transform that into pork carnitas and do some type of taco bowls. Probably end up freezing a little too....it was a ten pound roast.
