I have them supported fairly well, I don't think the wind alone would damage them too much. But combined with the heat they are doing it a little tough! I can't move them back to a sheltered area until tomorrow due to security issues. I'm sure they will bounce back...if not I will keep going until i find a way for plants to flourish in my conditions. As you say buddy only the strong only the hard...it goes for plants and men, it ain't no country for quitters!!
@the green bandit - well stabilized autos that have been acclimated to winds can withstand 60kph without a doubt.....45c in the shade is harsh though!!!!

Things are going okay Mike. I have had a bit of a security scare but nothing i couldn't fix. It kind of looks like the apocalypse is near at my place...plenty of fires are burning in the hills behind me in some pretty shit conditions. But all is good, nothing we can't handle!
How's things with you? The monster in your tent looks fantastic!

I was going to say precisely that...wind alone not a big deal....but that high wind coupled with extreme heat could very well be an issue!!

Yeah for sure...good chance they will bounce back as they were looking great in the last pics your posted! Where there is a will there is a way!! Utilize surrounding landscape to shield them against prevailing winds where you can....south facing trees, valleys all can be allies to help break up the wind to some degree

Holy crap! Incoming fire is bad, like really bad. I hope you skirt the destruction.

shit man!! Hope you are able to keep it all under control!!

Yeah starting to see a few minor deficiencies, i think caused by lack of nutrient uptake in the heat? They will look a whole lot better when I can get them home into a more sheltered area. A good foliar application of some liquid kelp will have them back to reasonable condition in no time!

It's all good at worst we will lose a couple thousand acres but no lives are in danger. We are pretty well prepared for it, it happens every few years!
