Believe it or not, I haven't been out for a whitetail in about 20 years. Put a slug through ones eyes at 10 yards, and...well, the results of the hydrostatic shock left me feeling sick the rest of the day haha.
That's not why I don't hunt, btw. I got on the wrong side of the law right after I hit adulthood, and lost the right to own things that go bang.

I was actually thinking of getting one of those .50 cal big bore air rifles, Since my state law says nothing about pneumatics...

*edit* I mean, I doubt I'll be able to take it down for a bear hunt, But it'll work for deer around here.

Haha. I'm the type that would try to rifle the "barrel" to give stopping power... I'd freeze the potatoes too lol.
...maybe add a steel core, too haha
