Indeed! I find the eyes to be a bit on the creepy side to tell you the truth....kinda ups the cool factor if you ask me!

Going from 1000's to these I was a bit concerned about fill and swell under COBS...

Not anymore

Hey Hashy....I found about two feet to be a good starting place for anything older than a seedling with my cobs....as they progress you can go a bit closer....some like it some don't. With the seedlings I start around three feet and slowly go down every other day or so. I've had nothing but success with auto cobs. I'm getting a good pound+ from each run of four plants......thats up at least 30% from my old LED. Hope it helps, pal.

Correct if you see that loooooong stretch, raise the plant or drop the light down. I will say the distance needed is a bit shocking given that it’s a diode or well several of them.

By day two above the soil you should be able to tell. Correct distance the first set should be growing. If not you’ll get a blend of the two. See that stretch and know the energy is going in the wrong direction.
