I'm lucky enough to have them in a creek that runs through the property where i live. They are an amazing sport fish! Fishing for them on the surface with light gear nearly gives me a woody.
It's been awhile since I've seen them at the aquarium fish shops. This was like over 15 years ago when I was big into fish. I had a room full of different aquariums and tanks of reptiles. Moved away from fish and got bigger into breeding boas and pythons. Now we just have a 55 gal tank with some african cichlids in my son's room and all my reptile stuff is gone.
I have to ask, only because I can't figure out how to do it. How are you getting these tiny plants that chunk up like that? Is it really just a matter of space for the roots? Would love to do this in DWC, but I have a feeling it's only possible with restricted root space.
Is there a link to an article here on accomplishing that? It would be incredibly beneficial for me given my limited space.
