I Wanna move to Cannada....but I'm allergic to snow...:grump:
Go West and stay away from the East is the best advice for snow haters in Canada!
Vancouver is on the ocean. The ocean has a moderating effect on cold temperatures so cities right on the coast will tend to have warmer weather than they would otherwise. ...Vancouver is more temperate. It's warmer in winter and colder in summer than most other places in Canada.

This is from wikipedia
Temperatures
The average annual temperature in Vancouver is 11.0 °C (51.8 °F) downtown and 10.4 °C (50.7 °F) at YVR airport in Richmond. This is one of the warmest in Canada. Greater Vancouver is in USDA plant hardiness zone 8,[1] similar to other coastal or near-coastal cities such as Seattle, Portland, Amsterdam, and London, as well as places such as Atlanta, Georgia and Raleigh, North Carolina, far to the south. The mild climate sustains plants such as the Windmill Palm. Vancouver's growing season averages 221 days, from March 29 until November 5. This is 72 days longer than Toronto's, and longer than any other major urban centre in Canada.[2]

Despite normally mild winters due to the onshore air flow over the North Pacific Current, occasional cold arctic outflows (sinking cold continental air that flows down through the Fraser Valley coastward) in winter can sometimes last a week or more. These arctic outflows occur on average one to three times per winter. The coldest month on record at Vancouver International Airport was January 1950 when an arctic air inflow moved in from the Fraser Valley and remained locked over the city, with an average low of −9.7 °C (15 °F) and an average high of only −2.9 °C (27 °F), making for a daily average of −6.3 °C (20.7 °F), 10 °C (18 °F) colder than normal. The coldest temperature ever recorded in the city was −18.3 °C (−1 °F) on December 29, 1968. [3] The coldest temperature across Metro Vancouver, however, is −23.3 °C (−10 °F) recorded on January 23, 1969.[4]

With snow being an infrequent occurrence over a typically mild winter, many cold hardy flowers remain in bloom and are common in gardens and office exteriors throughout the winter. The arrival of spring is often first noticed in February with slightly milder temperatures and the return of flowering perennials. It's also not uncommon for cherry blossoms to begin blooming later in the month, as was seen prominently during the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The Greater Vancouver region is also subject to significant variations in summer temperatures, which can differ by as much as 5–10 °C (9–18 °F) between inland areas of the Fraser Valley and the ocean-tempered coastal regions when localized on-shore breezes are in effect. Conversely, winter temperatures tend to be cooler inland by a couple of degrees.

24/0 a man after my own heart, I like this lighting schedule too!
Hey bro and good afternoon to you:smoking:
Sometimes images that are downloaded are too big and the system won't let you use it!
so find a picture you like and download to you documents the picture you want to use and then use a free online compression service like https://www.wecompress.com/en/
Or you can use "File minimizer" which is a free to use program, you can pay to use the advanced features but I have never found the need. I found this program very useful to compress images for websites where they have limited file sizes for upload. File Minimizer https://fileminimizer-pictures.en.softonic.com/
Using on of the above should fix your problem, I will still give you your 100 rep points seeing as you have had difficulties.
good luck and thanks for entering in to the spirit and having a bit of fun with us!:pass:

12/12 This is advice for photoperiod growers! You can use this lighting with autos if you want but why would you, when autos are not dependant on a 12 hour dark period to flower? More hours of light mean
A lot of people go for 18 on 6 off or 20 on 4 off:18-6::20-4:
As some people like to give their plants a rest with a dark period.
In the hot summer months where we struggle with high cab/tent temps a dark period through the hottest part of the day helps keep things cool.

I personally use 24 / 7 / 365 but that suits my grow style which benefits stable day and night temps but to be honest that is mainly for start of flowering to reduce stretch.
24hrs on means I don't have to worry about timers, there are no fluctuations with my electrical usage, temps remain stable, I don't have any issues with condensation and I get good yields.
Having the lights on for 24 hrs a day means I use a bit more electric but with LEDs being more energy efficient than the HID lights I used in the past, I don't really worry and the electric costs have all been worked out prior to the grow, so I know exactly how much each grow costs.

You could ask marshydro tina what here thoughts are with how many hours a day Mars Hydro lights are rated for. Some LED light manufacturers say their lights should only be on for a certain numbers of hours a day.

I have never owned a Mars Hydro LED so I can offer no advice on how long they can be used per day.

LED's I have used 24 hrs a day are E-shine DS300's , Vipar LED B2x3, Northern grow lights 300W DIY 4 x CBX3590 COB Kit , 1 x CBX3590 DIY COB and SANlight S4W Osram Light bars.
All these LED's were quite happy with 24 hr usage and crops were all good.

Your gonna get different advice from different people because we all have our chosen way, is one way better than the others? It is hard to tell, sometime it is just a matter of feeling your way through and making a personal decision and plumping for a light schedule that suits you.
I have seen grows using all the above lighting regimes and they have all grown excellent weed.

Thank you, arty! :coco:

That is what I wanted. Clear and to the point. :shooty:

Thanks for the long response. I will shotgun a joint for you, Brother! :pass:

I have tried 24/0, 20/4, 18/6 and 12/12 for autos. The best yield to watts consumed was at 18/6. IMPO I also believe it tastes and smells better at 18/6.

I like [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]. I also drink 1 double shot of espresso in a "Long Black" every morning. I roast and grind green beans from Sweet Marias. To make a Long Black put 2 oz of hot water in a 4 oz espresso cup and pull a double shot on top of it. It tastes very different than an "Americano" which is reversed. you pour 2 oz of hot water over a double shot. Americanos just taste like brewed coffee and a long black tastes like 4 ozs of espresso!
