Man what has this world turned into. Yesterday I sat in a university class and the prof asked us all who had seen The Big Lebowski and only 2 of 50 hands went up. It's a sad day.

I just mutterd DUDE! under my breath.

That happens to me more and more every day........if it didn't happen in the last couple of years, kids today and quite a few "adults" have no idea what you are talking about!

So you had those, too @Mañ'O'Green ? The guys from the Army base near my college would bring them back from Nam before that kind of stuff got too hot! Good s**t!
Yes it did not have much opium but it was an amazing buzz.

Leaves are still perky on snapped main cola stem. It's almost been 24hrs. Yay??

What you did is called "super cropping". Hardest thing for a new grower to do emotionally and physically is to super crop a plant to keep it out of the lights. The problem is many new growers as well as all of us end up in that situation indoors sooner or later. Have some grafting PARAFFIN TAPE on hand just in case. 6" lower than you think you should roll the stem crushing the inside 3 x the diameter of the stem in length between your forefinger and your thumb and bend the branch over at that pinch. Bend to 90° from the stem or horizontal to the light. If you did not get a good enough crush the stem can break usually just on the top. If this happens just wrap with the grafting tape and all will be well. You may need to tie down the bent over top as many branches just lift themselves right back up. A great lesson to teach yourself on your first harvest or any harvest for that matter is to practice super cropping on branches you have harvested. You will get a good feel for what it is to crush and bend without the dread of "Killing a Cola".

Sup fellas and dames.

I don't have a current journal, so I gotta share this shizzle. I'm bouncing man, I have not been this excited since my first grow room. I finally got around to assembling my COB and installing her. I made the board 6 months ago and procrastinated until today to finish for some unknown reason. But here it is: note the pocket door sliding track on the ceiling, all I need is the right size eye bolts and I have rollers for the light hangers.

Something very satisfying about building a light. Nice work, the wood gives it a steam punk feel.

Room looking great rev

Thanks man, I built it for monsters. But once I grew a monster, I didn't want them huge anymore.... go figure. So now I got a overbuilt 4x12.... not that I'm complaining. I'm proud as hell of all that work. I built a bloody secret wall with climate controls and 2 20amp circuits........

due to the leaglity of my state of residence, I also went ridiculously far on security. Infra red security, laser security, extra reflective barriers for RF, light tight as hell. Can't get a cell signal in there for crap.

If something is shining down from above or the street side at any given time, they are gonna have to spend a lot of money on gear to see me.
