It's interesting how there are some bugs out there with a specific diet of just one plant. First saw it when I was reading up on Satan in plant form, or puncture vine, after getting introduced to the nasty stuff growing in the alley behind my garage. Found out that there are weevils that specifically just eat the stems of puncture vine, and another variety that only eat the seeds of it. Almost tried tracking some down to order, but chemical warfare with the weed killer finally started doing the trick with enough diligence. :smoking:

FYI...this is what pure evil looks like in plant form. If you spot it, kill it...burn it....destroy the ashes...etc...etc...

Great post @Ozone69 man!
I heard of this nasty weed and I'm glad the UK doesn't have it.
Awesome plan to use single plant pests! One for the vines and one for the seeds, reckon that should do the trick but as you said weed killer is winning the day! I hope you get rid of it soon bro. However even when it is gone , stay vigilant!!! This sort of plant , will just keep turning up, like a bad penny!

How long will a big plant survive in a small pot??? Well.........hehehe I've abused several ducksfoot. They've been in cottage cheese containers that hold about .75L. Since January! I just last night transplanted one to a 2 gallon pot. When she's healthy again I'll put her in flower and pollinate her with a male from my F1 Ducksfoot x Ducksfoot cross.

Here is the poor, old ragged thing lol!

ohh and she's over 3ft tall!

Geeze pop you spanked her bottom real good :naughtystep:
Cottage cheese containers, lol she must have been aching for a new pot.:growing:
I know it won't be long and she will be like brand new, with nice green leaves and I know she will make some nice seeds, with her feet in some fresh soil.:smoking::d5::headbang:

Hawthorne is scotts marijuana co. If you knew what they own

Do you know how many hundreds of thousands of lives are saved every year from Monsanto if roundup was non existent millions would die of starvation period. End of point understand people thete is not enough farmland for the worlds population gmo or not if you think the world can supply the need for food without gmo your wrong. Cannabis is not a food crop if a company like scotts wants to capitalize on a cash crop so be it. By the way they are just a middle man for monsanto a distributer. If anyone chooses to use scotts products that is there choice. I would rather understand global trade and hunger than worry about some marijuana nutes
:jawdrop:

Looking good!
Cheers pop!! :pass:
It's been an interesting grow so far.
One of the girls (christmas tree shaped one) Doesn't like so much light and heat and I had fade/bleach leaves, so I turned off the 3rd light and raised the other 2 and sprayed with "Bio tabs boom boom spray" & "cal/mag/iron" and soon all was back in good order.
The smallest plant didn't like the 650 ppm (hanna 500 scale) / 1.3EC strength nutes, so she has a special barrel of Megacrop at 550 ppm (hanna 500 scale)1.1EC all the others are still getting 1.3EC / 650 ppm (hanna 500 scale).
I have added soluble mycorrhizae and bennies (beneficial bacteria) to the coco.
I have also added some Hesi Supervit , fulvic acid, Calmag with aminos and iron and some plant magic soil wetter to help wet the coco (especially for the top where it can get a little dry at times).
Further to that I have added some "coco boost PK 13-14" seeing as it is flowering time, I may even add some molasses when the buds start to form nicely in order to give them the opportunity to grab some extra carbs (plus it has some mag in it too)!
I know you don't use anything other than Megacrop through your grow and you get great results but I just can't help adding a few extras if I already have them in the cupboard!
I am also foliar spraying with boom boom juice and cla/mag/iron & Transport(optic foliar) in a 2 liter misting bottle.
They love the spray and it is only supposed to be a rescue spray lol every other day spray more like lol they seem to be loving the extra nutes through their leaves.

@Olde School Player, is there anything I can do for you? sorry it's so busy these days

@MarshydroTina Not at this time but thanks for checking in with me. Sometime this Fall I will be continuing some research on the effect of light intensity and spectrum on plant stretch (see the link in my sig. lines at the bottom of this post). I have two of your products (MARS-700 & MARS-II Cree Pro-128) and have noticed the plant stretch I took for granted in the past growing under HID lighting, is practically non-existent when growing under your product. Not saying this is all bad, some growers could use this to their benefit (those with limited headroom in their grow areas). But I believe I could improve crop yields by encouraging more stretch to develop a more robust plant.
At first I speculated this lack of plant stretch was due to the strong lighting I run in my grow area (both your products are 325Watt-at-wall & I run these in a 5 sq.ft. tent at 15 - 18" above the plant canopy), but grows where I kept lighting at 24-30" above plant canopy to reduce light intensity showed same / similar results. So now I'm shifting my thinking to lighting spectrum rather than, or perhaps in addition to, light intensity.
I've acquired a couple of BigSm0's 3500K COB lights as well to aid in my research.
I don't know what type of horticultural specialists you may have access to in your company, but that is the type of skillset I'm hoping will come forward to assist in this study. So give it some thought, ask around in your organization, and let me know if your company can provide any expertise on the subject.

Good afternoon chefdave, I hope you're having a good day.@hesgone13 I hope your girls are looking on the mend today!
