What's up everybody? Gather 'round and join me on my never-ending journey of DWC growing!
I'm basically a noob. My only method of learning to grow so far has been forums like these, however, I have spent the past year growing cannabis via deep water culture, and I have learned so much along the way! I hope to repay the favor.
I've grown 1 photo plant, and 5 autoflowering plants, in that order. I chose to switch autoflowering plants so I could have more experience with all the of the stages of growth, and even after, in less amount of time. I've been less than impressed with my early harvests, but my most recent harvest has given me hope that I've grasped some sort of understanding of growing!
That being said, here's a bud shot of my last grow:

This was from a Pyramid Auto Purple plant. This is what it looked like not too far from harvest:

I'm really pleased with the quality. It was honestly some of the best I've ever personally smoked! But now I want to get more! I only got about 37g from the plant overall.
So presenting my latest endeavor: Fast Buds' Crystal Meth!

This picture was taken at the end of Week 2.
In all of my previous autoflower grows, I started introducing light blooming nutrients at the beginning of week 3/a short time after seeing pistils. I'm trying a different approach in regards to feeding this time around.
Here's a basic guideline of what I'm going to be doing in terms of nutrients this grow (starting from 2-3 sets of leaves):
Week 1 - Lite Veg
Week 2 - Veg
Week 3 - Veg
Week 4 - Veg
Week 5 - Veg+Lite Bloom
Week 6 - Bloom
Week 7 - Bloom
Week 8 - Bloom
Week 9 - Bloom
Week 10 - Flush
I'm using Advanced Nutrients for my nutes, and I have a Mars II 400w LED.
The plant is being grown in a 5 gallon bucket.
Here's a shot of the roots at the end of Week 2:

However, that was long ago! We're currently at the end of Week 3!
Here's how Crystal's looking now:

There are pistils, but I'm going to resist my temptations to feed her the blooming nutes for yet ANOTHER week. I'm really hoping the extra growth pays off!

Question for any more experienced growers whose eyes may be peering this far: Does this plant seem like it's growing typically for its age?/It doesn't look "behind schedule"? I had an issue in the very beginning where I'm thinking the dust from my clay pebbles really interfered with it. It was when it only had 2 sets of leaves, I noticed a deficiency and changed the reservoir and it recovered. I'm just hoping it won't have a huge negative impact on the grow.
Here, have another bud shot of the not-so Purple for reading this far.
