i have 5 seed grows going right now--all good autos --AAs-BHD-RRF-Diesel-Cronic----what would odds be of getting a really good seed strain by crossing all males into 1 female.how does that wook?for now i want to keep pure strain so i am crossing a male with female of same seed, but would like to cross if i knew which to cross to obtain a great strain

For the most part a female flower can only be ferilized by one male. there are just thousands of flowers. Like a woman gets pregnant from one guy If a woman had hundreds of uteruses and banged 5 guys each uterus would have a baby from 1 of the 5 guys. It will make it impossable to trace the males genetics in the seeds. You would have seeds that are not marked with 5 different “strains“. Taking a very fine paint brush (for art) and pollinating certain buds with specific males will give you different batches and 5 crosses rather than one group of unknown crosses. Mark the buds somehow. If you use the brush no moving air, work very slowly and carefully and wear a mask. Pollen can travel over oceans.

A single grain of pollen lands on a pair of hairs coming from one flower. The genetic information travels down tue hair where it combines with the female half and grows a seed containing both genes. Some genes are dominate and will cover genes from another. Crossing two unrelated strains causes the best traits to show as well as increasing growth causing “hybrid vigour“. This only happens with F1 crosses.

Edit: best traits isnt the right words but strongest also isnt. Someone will be able to explain it better.
