Indoor "Critical+ Autoflowering CBD" - Kush's Newest Ghetto Grow

14 days from sprout.
It is very short and bushy.
Am I growing a runt??? Or is it going to explode in height soon? I will ask that same question in the Infirmary section.

I intentionally keep this plant thirsty and do not water it often. The reason for that is that I want its roots to seek for the last drop of water and this in turn to help the plant develop a strong root system. So far it has been taking the drought and the heat very well, it has been staying lush and green. However, we can't leave it without any water whatsoever, can we? So today it was given a 1,5 liter dose of cool water.

16 days from sprout.
Still very squat and bushy, but it is getting taller (it is now 4.5 inches tall or 11.5 centimeters).
It is also about one foot wide in all four directions and covers the whole pot..

I am starting to think that this plant will grow tall eventually and I no longer think that it is a runt.

I read that autos explode with growth after they reach 18 to 24 days from sprout, so we still have plenty of time.
Also, let's not forget that the plant will (hopefully) grow even taller in flower. Any ideas how many times larger it will become?

At only 18 days old, the stem is ridiculously thick - it is as thick as my pinky finger. Wow...
Today I fed her for the first time in her life. I gave her a dose of water and worm castings.

The soil in the fabric pot is getting compressed. Don't know if this would be necessary, but I may fill the pot up with some extra soil.

And here is the stem again with a fat Faber Castell sharpie placed next to it for comparison.
This thing is ridiculously THICK at only 18 days of age.
Can you imagine how thick this stem will get when the plant reaches maturity? It's probably gonna be as thick as my wrist, lol.
I am worried than my 3 gallon pot is not going to be big enough to support this plant.

I've had a couple plants be squatty like that, and never really grow over 2' even in flower and surrounded by 4-5 foot.

Only advice is make sure the canopy has some breathing room as you get into flower, otherwise shouldn't be a problem.

Keep it up!!

Hey Filthy_Casual, thanks for your reply! You are the first person to post in this thread other than myself. :)
I kinda like the idea of the plant remaining short, as long as this does not cripple yield too much.
How many oz per plant did you get out of your squatty ladies?

I haven't harvested them yet! Well one of the two has been cut, but it is still drying. I think both of them will end up in the 3-5 oz range. The one still going is hard to tell, and actually might be more 7-8, but until I trim it up a bit better I can't really be sure!

    Important and helpful information.
Also, as my soil goes down after a while as it compacts from watering, I add a bit to the top as well. Just want to leave about an inch or maybe a little more so when you water it doesn't overflow! Your plants are looking good though!

Holy cow, hitting the 3-5 oz range is a dream of mine. If my modest plant delivers more than 3 oz, I will be beyond happy.
She is a medicinal girl, with lots of CBD and I can use every extra gram of her flowers.
Thanks for sharing.
