New Grower Critical+ Auto rated (420)

Looks great to me mate, every plant will look different at day 10 or 16, theres a period that we call the stretch usually between weeks 3-6 strain dependant- thats where the growing is really done.keep up the good work!
Thanks @sanguine and @MissUniverse this means a lot I used to pop beans that I found in my buds in paper towel pretending to grow they will get a nice tap root and then i would throw them away. Now I'm doing it for real.... And can't wait to taste the fruits of my labor.....

I've done that before! That's how i started getting interested and now I'm trying my first real grow too. Just one plant in a super small grow tent, so space is my issue! And now im having some humidity and temp issues but those are a simple solve (add a big bowl of ice to the tent and a few towels as swamp coolers).

Very useful info

Nice looking plant!!! man how come yours looks to be a lot bigger than mine??? I'm jealous[emoji17]

Your plant is looking good bro. Didn't you have some trouble at the start? That probably slowed you down a bit, but now that you have a healthy plant your growth should take on momentum. One of the big things I learnt from my first grow (non-autoflower) is that getting your values right in your grow space is key. Have you got a temp/humidity sensor? That is going to be your first port of call, every time you stick your head in your tent. Next thing is how is your air flow? You got a decent inline changing the air often for you? Have you got a circular fan blowing on your girl 24/7? One of the things with cultivation, is that is definitely involves buying a lot of new equipment. But you really get out of it, what you put in to it. And when it comes to producing fat ounces of my favorite past time, then I have not problem with that at all haha.

Speaking of which I just installed a new LED in my tent a couple days. I bought a 800 watt King Plus LED. Which I have installed alongside my 600 watt COB LED. So Theoretically I'm running 1400 watt, but of course we all know that's bull$hit. Realistically, I'm probably running 400watts over my 4 plants, which I'd be stoked with! Honestly, after adding the new light, growth has taken off to the neck level! Within 48hrs all these new bud sites started appearing, which is choice azz.

Also bro, like the other members said, every seed and phenotype is different. And early growth now, doesn't necessarily mean a fat tree laden with nugs of greasy goodness at the end. Light totally makes a difference though. Investment in that area is never a bad thing. I got a little ripped off with my first light the 600watt COB LED. The guy at the store, made it out like is will going to be "the be-all and end all". It worked really well, but it didn't give me a fat tree like you see on this site. At the of the day, if you want quantity, you need to give your plants as much energy for photosynthesis as possible.

Hi bud, glad to see thing are looking good in here. As far as you plant looking small, I wouldn't worry. Even with in the same strain you get differences. I currently have 2 Long Peak Blues photos, and 1 was really stunted as a seedling, and now is the same height, and twice the plant. She is looking healthy man, and thats the really important part. I would rather have a small gem, over a monstrous piece of coal.

When you hit this time, your jaw is going to drop. The plant will look like it is trying to escape she will be growing so fast. It is a beautiful time to watch. Take care bud.

Nice post Fyggzy, I myself am looking forward to this stretch period!

Here's my Critical+ at day 19. She auto-flowered today which is always awesome to see. I just started feeding (a quarter strength) a day ago, I will start to amp up the feeding a quarter at a time progressively.

I keep reading about CAL/MAG on this site, thinking about trying it on. Is good to do throughout the grow? Or should you only add the CAL/MAG when you see deficiencies in your plant? Anyone who uses CAL/MAG got an opinion on this?

Oh yeah here's 2 day difference in growth, since adding my 800watt King Plus LED alongside my 600watt COB LED.

My Candy Kush and Auto Spanish Diesel both auto-flowered today. Which is a relief, I had heard that the Auto Candy Kush was wicked smoke, but that a lot of people had reported issues with them being unstable. So far she's been super good to me.

To be honest you should get some regardless to have on hand. Some strains wont need much, and some really want it. With you being under a LED, most strains actually tend to want more cal/mag. Depending on how hungry the plant is, you could add it to every feeding. In my expeience you will run in to a mag defiency more often than a cal def. You could always use epsom salt for mag needs. Overall, it would just be easier to get a good cal/mag. I use oilycann by earth juice, it also has humic acids in it. This bottle should last me 3-4 good grows at 0.66ml per liter a feeding.

I add it into every feeding but I use RO water so it might b different for you. I start with. 5ml per liter and around day 30 go to 1ml. Day 40 hit it hard with 2ml until flush. That's just my way using RO water

Cheers Pete! That helps a lot. Yeah I think I might try adding it and see what difference it makes.

I'm currently using the full CANNA soil nutrient regime. I have it all leftover from my first grow and it all worked really well the the first time. So i'll keep using it runs out and then try something new.

Thanks again for the tip bro.
