Dinafem Critical+2.0 auto

@nlevi20 My guess is a cat ate the tops while it was hunting birds on the roof, or else the butler did it. I can't tell about sex.

The AK on the left is 5 days and the two criticals, center and right, are 9 days. Today the AK will get a quart of water with 8-10 drops/gal of superthrive and yesterday the criticals got 2 quarts each of 2ml cal/mag extra and 8-10 drops superthrive per gallon. Around day 13-14 the plants will get their first feeding, at half dose, of FF nutes. I have been working on this feeding schedule since I switched from pro-mix to potting soil, last three grows, and I think it works.

The AK (left) is 9 days and the critical+'s are 13 days. It looks like the critical+ are two different phenos. Today both got their first FF feeding, 4 ml big bloom and 1 ml of everything else. Lights are at 24 inches but if temps stay up I will need to turn off the two remaining T5's. I have high hopes for the center plant, looks like a big one. The plant on the right had trouble with its shell, maybe I didn't plant it deep enough. Anyway whenever I have had a seed start off poorly it seems to pick whatever genes will give it a better chance to stay alive. I have never grown a bad plant from Dinafem yet, I'm sure this one will turn out good.

Looking nice and healthy so far mate

They will have access to plenty of nutrients and so far all I can see is happy, healthy looking plant's :bong:

Keep the updates coming and I'll drop back in on the next

All the best

Mark..

Day 15 for the AK (left) and 19 for the criticals (center, right) and everyone seems to be doing good. The plant on the right is looking very sativa like and not growing as fast. All plants have good color and their stems look good so I am happy so far. I was hoping for three plants the same for once, oh well.

they all looking super fine  if im not wrong there are often 2 phenos of the same strain and sometimes 3.
for hydro growers i would consider it a real pain, but soil/coco a slightly different tasting/smelling plant is a welcome bonus.a slight tweek to feedings perhaps and alls good.

Sometimes there can be 3,4 and even 5 phenos of certain strains. We do try to minimise this through selective breeding whuch in theory should only produce 1 stable pheno. In reality we see typically 3. The 1 we were aiming for (50/50 of the 2 strains used) a pheno leaning more towards the mother and one leaning towards the father. This is more typical with regular breeding but still the same with feminized and autoflowering strains.

The breeding side is very interesting and intriguing but I'll be the first to admit I'm not a breeder

As said when growing from seed you will get variances in the plants. We do try to minimise this but it's nature

Things so far look nice and healthy my friend :bong:

Three weeks into the grow and I am very pleased with the center plant and interested in the other critical (right) which looks skinny. Like they say, "the closer the bone the sweeter the meat". The AK (left) is also doing well. Bud sites are starting to show and vertical growth is picking up as well.

Day 27 for the RQS AK auto (left) and day 31 for the criticals ( center, right) and all the girls look good. The AK is 17 inches and the criticals are both about 24 inches. Buds are developing and I have turned on the other LED (Mars old style 100X3) so with the 2 bs240uv's there is about 400w actual for the whole bloom cycle. Lights are at 20 inches and once vertical growth stops, around day 38 maybe, I will lower to about 18 inches. The critical pheno on the right has uneven branch development but has had a real growth spurt going lately. The center plant is growing like all the other critical+ 2.0 auto plants I have grown, just perfect. Anyway the plant on the right is starting to show some bud development so I am happy.
