Hello ;D, Just got far enough into cure to give this stuff a try, and wanted to write up a report. This is my second plant (ever) of 6 to finish. I still have 4 going of what was at the time my first grow.

I did a lot of very wrong things with this plant. I stunted and slowed the plants growth, in the pics you can see all the stress and deficiencies. However, even though the yield was not great the weed is excellent, and the plant survived me from start to finish, and I think some of the other plants of the same strain from that grow will yield much better. I got some decent pictures of the finished product, and the plant just before it was harvested. And they are attached.

Poor PJ! She had a hard life...

SeedBank : Cream of the Crop
Strain: Afghan Kush Auto (Narcotic Kush Auto)
Did it autoflower?: Yes
Soil/hydro: Hydro, Hempy Bucket
Nutes: Lucas Formula + Kanga Roots early on
Light (kind and schedule): Started under T5, Finished under LED. 20/4
From seed to harvest date: about 90 days (I slowed this greatly by over watering and stunting) Dry Yield: 7g (only a quarter ounce lol :X)
High/Effect Duration: It's better than any bag weed I have bought here so far, and by a long shot, which may not be saying anything though haha... An excellent body high, sedated or rather relaxed, but clear headed. Mood elevating, no munchies (weird!).

It's a great high, after vaping a bowl it is only slightly de-motivational. It feels very functional. However after vaping 2 bowls, its extremely stoney with an intense body high.
I love it!

RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good

BAG APPEAL: *** This could look a lot better in the hands of an expert. Or anyone elses hands for that matter ;)...

THE GROWTH: I don't think I should rate this, as it was my first grow and I don't have much to compare it to. I will say it must be pretty hearty to have survived my mistakes. You can see in the picture that the other 4 plants got about twice as tall, and are going to produce a lot more. This was taken about a month ago, here are her siblings (all the same strain except the one in the middle on the left [that is a KO crop auto which is AK47 x ruderalis from the same seed bank] ):

THE SMELL: **** After hang drying for 5 days in 45% humidity, then curing for 7 days in a cvault at 62% humidity, it smells excellent. When first harvested it smelled heavily of tea and grass/plant. After drying and curing it smells very herbal and spicy, like hash but very fresh.

THE SMOKE: ***** I vaped it in a silver surfer, and again later in a pax. The flavor is earthy, with nothing fruity/floral. There are a lot of different herb and wood smells that are altogether kind of "spicy". I personally really enjoy it!

THE HIGH: ***** This would be something I would like to have available all day lol... So far I have noticed, a little goes a long way, and if I don't overdo it, it can be a pain-relieving functional high. There is some couchlock factor, but it's not bad. After a couple bowls though it gets pretty demotivational haha... Munchies effect is actually surprisingly minimal.

I will update the thread if additional weeks of curing bring out anything interesting, and also as the other plants in the batch finish up. It was a lot of fun to grow, hopefully I learned something :D

Currently I am growing il diavolo, which has afghan kush in the genetics, definitely interested in seeing the differences :D Growing this stuff is so much fun... I wish I had a million closets to just experiment with... anyways... thanks for reading!

I am wondering how the odor was during the grow, and what, if anything was used to control the odor. I am just about to start some of the cotc afghan kush auto and would prefer to keep my business private.

good report. How was the KO compared to the others?

Thanks man! The KO was OK. She yielded about half an ounce, but I was pretty bad at growing. She was so streched, the buds were airy. I didn't do a great job. The high was pretty strong though. Probably stronger than the others on average.

I like your c vault I use them to cure as well

My C vault actually broke not that long ago. The part where you put the humidty packs in snapped off... Pissed me off because those things were expensive.

I had a carbon filter that fit 4 inch tubing. The smell was very manageable though. They didn't stink very bad which was surprising because they KO was supposed to be a really smelly plant. The narco kush was pretty subtle. Some typical "weed" smell, but not a lot. if you have a carbon filter it will be more than enough. In a closet in the back of a bedroom you might not need one.

Thanks for stopping by, and good luck on your grows!
