Couple of breeding questions.. autoflower and general..

So I'm going to start working on a strain and I had a couple of questions that were rattling around in my head.. I'm going to be starting with a photo and an autoflower.

So let's say I do this;

Male AF -> Female Photo

Male Photo+AF (that autoflowers) -> Female AF.

Would my genetics be 66% / 33% ? Could I inbreed to raise the 33%? And lastly, would my autoflower rate be >90% since I crossed AF over AF?

I can't understand you? you mean a male from a strain that is not 100% autoflower yet? or a male that is an auto but from a strain which is not yet 100% auto...

Most of the time a auto x auto = auto offspring... the amount of auto phenos from a F2 or F3 auto x non auto cross are going to be tuff to calculate unless your back ground knowledge is solid...

@evol: thanks for the link brother, I've read that thread already and that's where I was confirming the >90% AutoFlower.. It just didn't make sense for it to be so easy to get an autoflower in two generations.. so I'm asking basically what is the trade off for getting back to autoflower so fast? How much of the original photo genetics do I "lose" ?

Male Autoflower Strain crossed over a Female Photo plant. Then grow the seeds from this, the first autoflower male from the newly created strain I would take the pollen from and cross it over the female of the ORIGINAL autoflower strain.

I'm doing the same basic thing but making colloidal silver to turn females male and just making fem seeds so I dont have to mess around with males.
I'm crossing an afghan kush with a kush van stich that I will spray cs on and use the pollen on the ak. then I'll grow them out and cross 1 auto (F1) with another kvs and probably backcross to the ak once more then restabilise the auto trait and just go from there to breed for the traits I want

@evol: that makes sense, but I wanted the original af pollen to use in the future. Isn't it easier to breed for traits with regular seeds? How do you breed for traits with feminized beans, just STS the plants that come out the way you'd like? Is that a form of IBL? (I'll be using STS, not CS..)
Let's say I do this;

Male AF -> Female Photo -> Grow out this strain, first female AF frp, the cross -> Hit it with STS, get feminized beans -> pop a bunch of these and the phenos I like, I hit with STS again and get more feminized beans.. It just seems like I'd be cheating doing something like this. How does the gene pool get effected when you use this kind of method?

In a cross of a auto x non auto... you will not get any auto phenos in the F1, you can but it is a very rare event... F2 yes

@ whatsgoodie2 yeah its kinda like cheating but imo its better because I can cs just on one or 2 branches on a few plants and let the rest female so it grows buds and I can see what one has the fattest frostiest buds and just use that pollen. No guesswork

@cres I realise the auto trait is rare in F1s but I plan on having thousands of seeds to try. I'll grow 10 at a time in a small space and if they don't auto after 30 days ill give them away and start over. It might seem like a lot of wasted time and space but it will be worth it imo

why not just make good selections and work into f2 and beyond? 3months will go by and you wont find an auto...

Good point cres. I guess I just didn't put much thought into that. My thinking was backwards on that because I was thinking that if I did it the way I first said that the auto F1 would have more of the AK traits but I guess if I cross two photo F1s that look exactly like the original AK then the auto offspring would in fact have more of the original AK traits....correct?
