Completed First Grow! Thank you AFN Fam!!

hmmm... @The^Dude u got any insight on this :confused1:

and btw mog, how many dabz have u had tonite-?:pighug: ppp
Not a ton, but at some point those larva will drop onto the ground and pupate in the dirt. Beneficial nematodes will eat those son bitches, so making sure you’ve got good healthy soil and a strong biome should guard against a serious infestation. Squish em in the leaves, watch for eggs or raised bumps, check around the garden to make sure another plant isn’t hosting some crazy infestation, etc. I dilute garlic oil and spray on 1x week, or OHN is what I’m trying out now. Build some healthy soil and nature will watch out for you. There are wiser folks than I that have already weighed in, good luck man. I plant a lot of smelly cooking herbs, thyme and basil and mint, and I try to provide habitat for predators nearby.

Thanks Dude. Glad I found this group. You guys really help a newb sort through all the confusion!:peace:

Found this on neem; Neem Oil is a natural insecticide that can be used to treat plants. Neem oil can disrupt the leafminers' natural cycle.. which prevents them from spreading and becoming adults. Just remember though that neem oil doesn't necessarily kill the leaf miners. It just treats the pests to divert them from your plants.

Thanks! I did spray them with Neem yesterday and haven’t seen any new ones yet. Fingers crossed

Thanks to you guys, the leaf miners are history! In the continuous saga of growing in a vegetable garden...had freak winds after the tomatoes got a deep watering caused a tomato plant and cage to fall directly on top of my auto Revolver from Crop King seeds. Was gone for several hours and when I got home and checked the garden my heart sank. Picked up the tomato plant/cage and the Revolver stood up! Severe bend at the top but no break. Kind looks like I did some LST just at the top. We’ll see what happens after she has a chance to recover.

whew, close call! ppp

Looks like a leaf hopper to me. I don’t think they’re usually predatory, pretty sure they’ll make a cozy lil home and eat away at your leaves, but pretty slowly. May be wrong though.

Thanks Dude. I was worried that they would set up shop in the young buds and lay eggs, etc.
