Old Reviews Comparable to Spider Farmer but cheaper

It's always cheaper to DIY. the cheapest DIY options you have are going with Bridgelux strips. What size spaces are you wanting to light? What size is your budget?

There is also kingbrite and the alibaba brands.
Thank you for your reply. I want to do a 5x5 followed by an 4x8. I have a high mechanical aptitude but few tools and no electrical experience but the DIY approach is very appealing. As I installed some really cheap tape strip leds just for normal lighting I thought these grow lights are crazy over priced and there has to be a cheaper way. But I am very much a DIY kind of guy. I'm going to start researching but if you know of any info I should check out I would love to hear. Thanks S

The Gen 3s are currently out if you need help sourcing them. You're going to get better quality than you would with SF. Covering that much space will run you near $900 excluding heat sinks, wiring, etc. It's a value considering that it can be over $3000 for that much space
