I just peaked 1 of 2 CDLC has a root, both GGG4's and both Yeti's have roots.

I seen that @gbd think the guy was initially a tester then used the strains to set his own outfit up along with a few others, I think the name was changed to Copper Chem in the end. Good to get the thumbs up before I reckon, great job mate. I have just got the Purple Stardawg clone, going to try to reverse one and brush my GG4 and Sour Dubble. That's actually a whole different stardawg drama, between topdawg and Greenpoint seeds. From my understanfing Greenpoint was given permission to use the stardawg male, so long as it wasn't used on any Chem or topdawg lines. Greenpoint crossed it to some chem and released it for sale and got into some heat with a lot of breeders for doing so. He also used a polar bear og male from a pack of testers (breeding with testers is a no no) that Karma sent him without permission. Then released those crosses as well. The force is strong around the stardawg, for sure.

Yep, the force is proper strong! @gbd as with a lot of things I cant remember the ins and out but saw it play out elsewhere, still on there to read. Went on for ages! To be honest it just shows how special the strain is, im sure the CDLC will be highlighting that too :smoking:look forward to seeing what traits have carried over, potency will be high no doubt.

Update:

I've got two of these ladies in a wet paper towel as of a few minutes ago. One CDLC and one of what I'm going to call Crinkled Glue aka grape crinkle x gorilla glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG].

Can't wait!! Super frosty coming right up.

I have them as well but im having to clear the tent to get them rolling. I do have the GGG4 in a pot now waiting on signs of life .... the others will come as i clear room in the veg tent...

Whats up @gbd thanks for the background on some of this. Cool hearing some of the stories behind it. Unfortuanately it seems to be a very slippery slope and with canna biz going good and perged to be a world wide money maker its only gonne get worse.

First off let me say thank you to Mitch for trusting me with this important task. I hope to do them justice, as this will be my first go at testing in my short time growing. I really appreciate all you do for us Meph-heads. Mitch, you have a heart of gold, and I thank you for that.

So I thought maybe a communal thread would be a cool way to showcase these new strains all in one spot. All are welcome to show off their testers here.

I am going to run 2x each strain in 2L coco Hempy's, 1 set will be a traditional Roasty AN chem fert regimine in coco. The other set will be an organic ammended coco/mushroom substrate grow, using only water and teas if necessary. I have never grown a plant like this, so I hope it works out. I may throw a Yeti OG in a vacant Autopot that was supposed to have a Skywalker in it, but I've had 2 beans not work out. Fungus gnats suck ass!

So my plan is to start germing this weekend, as I'm battling a gnat problem at the moment. Treated the culprit soil pots with OMRI rated Azamax and a dusting of Diatomacious Earth (food grade). All other plants just got the DE. I just need these adult flyers to die off.

All I got at the mo is bean porn and organic coco pots a cookin. Never mind the mess.

Good luck Roasty. Thanks for the invite. I'll join in on your thread. I have a GGG4 sprout this morning and should have a CDLC sometime today. I'm waiting on a Yeti that hasn't shown a root yet. I put in another in paper towel in case it doesn't germinate. I think I'll just plant it and hope. I'll put an update with photos later.

I soaked 2 of each last night, at 24 hours both GGG4's and one Yeti OG has a visible root. I've been waiting for this chem for a long time, it's been a couple years since Mitch first Spoke of it. Creme de la Chem: Stardawg x Chemdogging I love me some Chemdog! Yeti has some old Headband heritage if I'm not mistaken, should be a real nice Indica. The glue cross with the mighty Grape crinkle will surely be a nice plant to extract some trichs from. Rosin dabs anyone?
I only have one free airpot so these may go in some holy buckets.
I'll be using Compost from my pile, promix and perlite. I've been thinking about trying some all organic ferts, but I may stick with Fox farm trio since I know it best.
