Good day everyone! Apparently 4 of my bagseeds I have vegging on the backyard deck under 17+ hours of daylight are autoflowers. Yay! My first autos! I have 3 girls and a ladyboy with more male flowers and just a swish of female flowers on top. I don't mind using that pollen to make some beans just to have some auto beans for next summer. I don't want it to blow all it's pollen hither and yon though. I would like to collect and use the pollen selectively dust the lady autos and any future photo plants that I may want to dust a branch or two to make f1s to cross amongst themselves to make the f2s where the fun with breeding is. Any tips on how I can collect and store pollen for future use?

There are tons of ways to collect pollen.. The easiest is to just cut a branch off, bring it inside and place it on a paper plate to dry out and drop pollen.. But keep in mind that the herm trait is hereditary.. So if the pollen came from a plant with both male and female parts, it will pass on that herm gene to most of its offspring. I would never use the pollen from a plant with both male and female parts.
