Grow Mediums Coco and dry amendments

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone is growing in Coco, perlite, and dry amendments?

I have been watching a lot of youtube videos and there is one guy in particular who is using coco/perlite and dry amendments from Gaia Green.

I was thinking about the Dr. Earth Organic line.
The all purpose 4-4-4, and the flower girl.

Is anyone growing autos using this type of method?

I use equal parts soil, coc, and perlite then pre mix my growilla dry amendments into the soil and plant. Then 1 week into flower I top feed with the flower formula and feeding depends on strain from there. Works great for me. I have a journal in the mephisto forum. Thread is titled a meph head and his 5x5 if you wanna check it out

im guessing you're referring to mr canucks grow on youtube?

im attempting my very first grow right now using canna coco coir with gaia green. i have used gaia green in the past for peppers and it worked out really well.

Yep, definitely.
I would like to use the Dr. Earth line, mostly because its more readily available and much less expensive here.

Hey guys doing my first grow with dry amendments. (Gaia Green) I’m having a hard time finding info on feeding. So after mixing the medium when should my next feed be? I have 2 plans a fastbuds Girl Scout and a BlackBerry both in the 8-9 week range. From what I’m reading seems first week or so of flower I do a top dress feed. Then am I simply done feeling and just water till they are ready to harvest?

1 tbsp of EACH of the 4-4-4 and the 8-2-4 per gallon of medium. Top dress and work into the coco. This according to Matt at Mr. Canuck's grow.

Edit.. He does this week 5 and then every 3 weeks until finish.

824? Wow that's a lot of N. I use Dr Earth 444&394
Fed 70/30 mix week 5 ish & will give a 50/50 mix in a few days. It will be week 9 from seed&3 weeks from start of flower. Then in 3 more weeks I will final feed with a 30/70 mix.

What’s up guys interesting Chat was thinking about giving canucks method a go.I’m in the uk and can’t seem to get my hands on Gaia greens or dr earth, do any of you know of any similar products that’s easier to source.
