Lighting Cobshop.net info, questions and answers

Hey, thanks!
Lol, well if you were in MA, I'd throw the smaller one (top left) your way. I don't have the time to wait for it to mature because I'm on a schedule.

I saw the label when I shipped them. Ordered Sunday delivered Tuesday?

The old panels and the new cobs you have are two completely different animals. The wattage throws people off so it's best to understand the power before firing them up. You will definitely be happy with them once you start growing with them.

Thank you for your support!

Yes Sir, that was me! Shipping was quicker than Amazon Prime! Many thanks!
Thanks for the info! Just out of curiosity, is 20" above the plants a sweet spot for these COBs? Or rather, what lux should I be looking for? I know everything is all about PAR but I don't have a PAR meter, just a lux app for my phone. At the current height of my panels, I'm getting a reading of about 25,000 lux. And the panels are about 12" above the tops.

Coming from a former led panel guy....Start high as you can always lower them. If you run them like your led panels expect light stress.
You will love your AutoCobs as I do. Takes a little getting used to them.
Hey, thanks!
By getting use to them, do you mean the hanging distance? Or something else? From what I've read, I'm guessing I need to increase my calmag? I currently add 4ml of Calmag+ to every gal for water & feed.

I use one teaspoon of cal-mag and one tablespoon of molasses with my bubbled ph'd water as I am a organic grower.
Every plant is different in their reaction to white light cobs and cal-mag use. Its something you learn quickly by just watching your plants.
And giving them a lot of love doesn't hurt either............lol

Thanks again for the reply!
Okay, I'm running 70%coco/30% perlite in fabric pots. I'll see how it goes...
Alright, off to create my own thread so I don't hijack this one. Thanks again gents!

Never thought I would beat amazon in transit times lol. Lux and even par depending on the meter is not very accurate. Colored leds register higher numbers than white does. The only way to get accurate measurements is with a very expensive meter. So for us growers 24-30 may be the best starting point. My plants have a 30 inch space, others record 24 and even 20 inches. It's really about the plants reaction to the light. It's powerful

Lol! Definitely lightning fast!
Ahhh...okay, well that makes sense. I'll hang them at 30" and go from there. 65" height - 30" spacing - 5" light - 3" for gap above light to ceiling - 11" pot = 16" Max plant height :/ Damn...looks like I need to find a bigger boat!!

Hi, been a long time lurker on here, your lights have brought me out of the dark!

Got three quick questions;
1) Are you now shipping to UK?
2) If yes, can you fit with UK plug socket?
3) Do you have the reflectors for sale yet/ would you be able to point me in their direction?
