Hi, thinking of trying out a cob.. I'm going to grow in a 80x80x160cm tent. 3 maybe 4 plants if space allows it. Which would be sufficient enough? Also how many? And do you deliver to UK with a UK plug? Thankyou!

I’m sure @BigSm0 will be around to answer but he does ship to UK I’m unsure of the current rates. Also unsure about plug. But I believe your tent is about 3’x3’. 3-4 would do. If your gonna ship you might as well get 4 it’s the same shipping I believe.

Hello, I would go with 3 in there. If you plan to expand later on shipping is the same for 3 and for 4 cobs. I am shipping to the uk, unfortunately I won’t be getting any type G cords in to a week or so. Most guys attach the cobs to a USA power strip and just use a USA-Uk adapter. Hope this helps.

Got my other cob today and it makes me 6 but undecided on how to go with them got 4 3000k and 2 4000k and I think 4 would be to many for this little junk ass driver..

My room is not very tall. Can I get the autocobs closer to the plants if I omit the lens?

I don’t think there is a lense. I think u would want lower wattage cobs so they aren’t so intense. Not sure if @BigSm0 offers that or not. I’m sure he can help u out though.

They do not have lenses but the cob holder I use does have a small reflector built in. 1/4 inch, it does make a difference. In a tight space I can use a different holder. I can also make a lower wattage cob. It will come out to around 40 watts vs 55.

The best thing you can do is train the plants. Less plants needed to fill the space but plant ties will help keep the plant low and flat.

It depends on which cob. Theoretically you can run 4 36v cobs off this driver. It will turn on and work but my concern is for how long. I don’t have any evidence of this but I feel the harder the driver has to work the less likely it is to last. I’m sure there is someone who maxed. Mars driver out and has ran it for 3 years but I can say I came close to the max a few times and they didn’t last long at all.
