If you are growing in a confined space reflectors are unnecessary IMO. You loose light every time it reflects off a surface, might as well let it reflect off the walls instead of a reflector... It will give you more intensity downward, but decrease penetration and its easy to raise/lower leds anyway...

@bigsmo small is great, good to hear co2 is used by yourself aswell.

@thetreeman I think you are correct there is loss from reflection. With my 3590 cobs I have seen that a photon reflected at 1 inch from the source refocused into a narrower area adds to a higher intensity of PAR, than say a photon reflected 2 feet away and again travels back to the plant. Its nice to have the option either way

I'm back and forth but will still offer the option. I have done a lot to par testing and the whole 2x2 space tested registered 20% higher numbers with reflectors vs no reflectors. I even tested areas of a plant with and without reflectors that was near a reflective wall and that was in favor of the reflectors. The main reason I don't have them on my plants now is because I'm running out of head height and the 6' tall plants are seeing plenty of light and at the verge of stressing them out.

It's been such a struggle getting ahold of the reflectors in bulk but they are in transit and will be an option on the website very soon. USPS has been very reliable in shipping this far. Prices are very fair and fast. As for the dust I also blow the units off with compressed air myself before they are boxed. Maybe I should blow the box out as well or wear a hair net lol. The size is actually one of my favorite things about them. 150mm wide and 160mm tall weighing in just under 5lbs each. Very compact but as we are seeing on the recent grows extremely powerful. Thank you for the feedback.

I'm thinking a "Hair Net" calender will do big business. Exploit that market son!

I think its frigin great actually!!! yet I do think its rather hilarious that some still want more of your money,time and stuff. Biggie here,sources quality,tests,packs up and makes sure all are happy,yet some still want more? I really dont get that. you get what you pay for overall. this tech,other tech and everything else or has some forgot its a lifestyle not a huge corporation. LOL sorry bro, just bugs me when people want mor more more for nothing other than bitching. seems to be anyways. rock on Biggie dude

Yes........I want more more more and some more white light AutoCob.......well not for nothing but close......Thanks @BigSmo my newest AutoCob arrived yesterday. I hopefully will have kicked the habit....for a while anyway........Go AutoCobs they rock!!

Oh yeah....by the way about the AutoCob you sent me. I opened the box and the AutoCob was already on a hanger. I cut the zip tie on the cord.
Hung the cob, adjusted the height and plugged it in. 90 seconds tops start to finish. No instructions needed. I loved it.

As for the pre attached hanger, I didn't think it would happen but I did have a few people ask how to install the hanger so I now include it right to the light to eliminate any confusion.

Just arrived? I'm cranking the lights out as fast as I can. Looks like it's paying off. What's the height your at? Heat is a thing of the past. 2-3 in that tent should maintain temps fairly well on its own.
