Hi everyone. I’ve currently got a single Chem Bomb Auto in my little grow box in my garage. Its nice and stealthy hidden in the rafters. It’s dimensions are 11” x 11”. I can’t remember the height and I can’t be arsed to go back down and measure it at the moment!!
Anyways, it’s gone cold here in the UK, so far she’s been super hardy in less than ideal temps, currently 4 weeks old and so far I’m happy as can be. Here’s the info and pics:

Medium: 70/30 coco perlite in a 2 litre pot.
Nutrients: Hesi TNT Complex at full strength (5ml per litre) ph 6 every time.
Lights: 4 x 15w 1560lm 4000k household led with tops off.
Light cycle: 24/0
Environment: temps at pot level range from 18c -21c. 5w heat mat under pot set at 22c with the probe in the coco.
Arctic p12 pc fan running at 5v blowing through a rhino pro 100mm! Fan is on a 15 min on 15 min off cycle to help with temps.

These photos are 2 weeks and today 4 weeks old. She was topped above 4th node, then nodes 1 and 2 removed. Last week I attempted 4 way lst, but wishbones one branch so now it’s 3 way lst! I’ve held them down with bent garden wire pushed into the coco. Some of the leaves look a bit raggedy where droplets have scorched under the leds. She’s going to have to be tough to survive my cold garage!!!

She’s drinking 400ml water a day, I give her 500ml every morning and I expect to have to water twice a day soon as the pot only holds 600ml water. Next time I may do 100% coco. I’ve had a hard time getting to grips with coco as a long time compost grower, but I seem to have got a hold of it now. I was constantly overwatering on my previous attempts.

Anyways, the plant itself has been growing well from day one, 5 nodes at 14 days so that’s when she was topped. Taken full strength nutrients early on, she is starting to stink. A lovely skunky smell with a lovely hash smell when I run the stem. I’ve been able to see tiny tricks glistening on the leaves from early on so I’ve got high hopes for her.

It is a harsh place in the garage, she won’t have a 100% dialled in environment. I’m keeping the roots warm at all times, lowest my thermometer has been is 18c. So far so good. Once she stops stretching, and I’m hoping for another couple of inches before she stops, then I will start the Hesi bloom

I’ve got 1500lm 2700k led that I was going to swap to after the stretch, however after seeing how well she’s doing under 4000k I may just do the whole cycle with them

a fellow UK grower here there are quite a few around here now also small spaces can be tricky but i grow some crazy solo cups and until you've seen them you will be shocked how good one can be with so little media i also grow in autopots and lots of other things

Hi Tom. Nice to talk with other uk growers, no one knows I grow so I don’t get the chance to share experiences. Yeah it’s been hard controlling the temps, I was initially concerned about head height but now anymore. Vertical growth will probably stop in the next week
