I knew a guy on another forum who had one of those fans, and he loved it. No complaints that I remember; although he was in a woke part of the world and didn't need stealth. Just reliable ventilation.

In general, I think the rule is that you want something that can exchange all your air once per minute. You have shy of 54 ft^3, so 190cfm is going to do you fine and you will be able to run it on a lower setting. However, if you're going to use the filter (versus just pushing the air outside), you should add about 10% onto that since it will detract from your fan's ability to move air.

Even then, the unit is still a good size for you. Just know that your fan will need to run a setting or two higher than normal to account for it. If fan noise is an issue (i.e. your bedroom tent is in a closet and you want to stay stealth), you might want to look into Db output on that one. A lot of the reviews indicate it's super quiet, but in my experience more quiet = more money.

As an aside: I have one of the Vivosun 6" filters, and the thing is a champ. Not to knock the more expensive offerings out there, but using that one the way they instructed has led to zero issues for me at 1/4 the cost of a Phresh filter. I let the exhaust 'pull' through it and keep the provided filter sleeve on the outside. No one in the house has any idea, and I haven't encountered any of the crazy issues some of those reviews call out.

I have a 32-32-6ft grow tent my bedroom is starting to stink from the weed ,
Looking for a small cheap setup any ideas
was looking at this one on amazon

I second the recommendation.
It was my replacement, when shit hit fan 1.
Used in my 2x4x5 tent.
Its very quite and variable.
The filter will last 3 to 4 complete grows without smell...no problem.

I have a stupid question I installed the fan and filter today

maybe I set this up backwards ,is the fan surposed to suck air in from the outside Of the tent ,or push air out

if I put my hand over the duct feels like it’s sucking air in instead of blowing it out

sorry I’ve never had one of these before

@Budgie45
That is NOT a stupid question by the way.
There are many ways to set up a filter and fan.

What you want to do is get air flowing into...and out of the tent.

So,

Plug the fan to start it blowing.
This tells you which way to point the fan.

Suck air from filter to the fan.
Or blow air from fan in tent to the filter ( filter outside tent).
Here is my setup.
Very simple...filter to fan and fan to outside tent..
Remember to keep a hole open and let air into the tent  :crying:

Well I’m trying to get the smell out of the tent,it feels like it’s sucking air into the tent From the duct ,maybe I need to put the filter on the other way so it’s blowing air out the vent,

there was No instructions with this thing
