Do you like ur infinity?
Yes. I pieced my kit together myself and ended up spending about 350 more than their complete 3x3 set up is.

Tent is amazing quality, all the exhaust/intakes are double lined and with a hose clamp are sealed nicely. The exhaust is probably the best thing I bought, running my 6" at 50% power right now, with everything attached its moving about 140cfm which is almost triple the volume of the tent and I would say its quiet. With the controller, light, exhaust, and circulation fan all being controlled by 1 unit its pretty boss. I dont really have to worry about anything other than my lung room conditions and watering.

The ac filter worked phenomenal while I was running my caramel cream that hermied on me. But the skunk was no joke after opening the door. No one that has come over said it smelled in my house, but I do smoke heavily too so idk how you wanna take that.

Horizontal. @Jackson heat rises so if you can have your fan up it will suck the rising heat/humidity and blow it out all while sucking air from
The bottom to help move fresh air up though the canopy which carries co2 and the humidity temp based off the location you are pulling the air from. If you can maintain the humidity and temp of the air in the room thats being pulled into the tent you can control your vpd.

How do we know if we are moving too much air? Its very easy to over do it in tents. Negative pressure is good but i dont want to be moving air too fast either, i feel like id be overworking the crap out of my plants as far as transpiration goes

Early on in the seedling stage you won't need to move much air. I would highly recommend looking at the systems from ACInfinity. They are a little spendy but have excellent controllers especially for the exhaust fans. You can set an upper(and lower) limit for both humidity and temperature. The controller monitors and adjusts fan speed to keep the envrionment in the range you want. They now feature the ability to set a minimum air speed, speed 1, and then ramp up from there. It's a really nice feature.

I run both a heater and a humidifier in my tents which are controlled by Inkbird power strips. Those in combination with the ACInfinity exhaust fan keep the temp and RH % in check. Read up a bit on VPD - Vapor Pressure Deficit. As long as you are not keeping the humidity level too low you should not have an issue with transpiration. I suspect you have some idea of this as you mentioned overworking your plants.

EDIT: Oh it just loaded the latest posts. I see you are on it.

Vertical or horizontal?

I have always put mine horizontal but that was more because I did not consider a vertical arrangement! The bars seem to support the filters better in the horizontal position. I also try and keep my fan/filter inside the tent to cut down on noise and visibility.

:yeahthat: Another thing to add to this is I like to place my inlet filter directly opposite whatever intake vent I have open so it's always pulling fresh air across the plants and not just up one side and creating low circulation spots.

Thank you @DCLXVI @Dankerson @Rorojuner @4wiscoLegal420 . I think I will just order the filter after I take it all apart this weekend and clean the fan.
You're welcome, Ive only been around since spring and everyone here likes to help people. Especially the guys that answered. Dont be a stranger and pop in on the live stoner chat. Theres quite a few knowledgeable people in there. And I think everyone whos responded also pops in there every once and a while!
