Indoor Changing light cycle in the middle of flowering?

I've stressed plants under 20/4 and I usually have a photo in the tent at all times, so I just leave it on 18/6 until I need to flower that photo, then I decrease to 12. I'll finish autos on 12 hours and they do fine coming down from 18, just like a photo sensitive plant but smaller.

Thanks for the info that helps a great deal. I do not want to waste the free regular seeds I just got. The future will be all autos until I can get separate tents!!

Thank you for your inputs. Im still a little ambivalent on how to do but i think just stick to the 20/4 all the way trough. Will be starting a grow log soon, better late then never =}

Ill be looking out for your grow log mate and with the lighting yes it is best to keep to the same light cycle but to be honest ive gone from 18/6 to 20/4 and even 24/7 when my timer broke and it didnt stop my girls in action but it could stress them out a lil bit but not too much :thumbs::thumbs:

My autos have been on 12/12 for wwks and flowering well under way will switching the light to 17/7 do any harm

The harm might've been using 12-12 lights.
I think you'll be fine, but I have no experience doing that.
