Hi... What would happens if I go from 18/6 to 24/0 at 2-3 weeks ?
I have 3 strains just begin bloom mode, and want add new seeds for vegging full light 2-3 weeks.
Could my bloom strain tolerate this ?

Also posted in light section !

I don't believe 20/4 will have any benefit either vegging or flowering.I think the plants should have a rest period of some sort just like in nature. You could do it if you like but I beleve 18/6 is still the best for autos

I agree with what he said, the plants should have some rest time, regardless of what stage they're in. From what I understand, since they're autos, they should be fine regardless. But they'd probably benefit from having a bit of down time, for which they need to be in the dark.

I grow all my autoflowers with lights on around the clock, so I respectfully disagree that they need down time. Because they already have a short life span, I slam them with light as soon as the seed is planted. My runs end sooner and I feel that I get a better yield, but that is my preference. Growing is a lot like politics, you will hear 50% for and 50% against. It all comes down to your personal growing schwerve.

I have had to adjust light schedules around for a few reasons but it didn't hurt the plant as far as I can tell,I have ran them 24/0 and had massive growth, but I now stay on 18/6 as preference..
