Hello everybody
After watching people grow for a long time i decided to take a step and grow a little plant too :) The reason i post my grow is so that people will know about royal dwarf the strain i am growing as i have only seen two or three full grows about this strain, so not much info out there, and for you to help me with your knowledge :D

  • My growbox
My growbox is very tall (2 meters 6.5 feet) but very narrow. It was originally a cd case so you can imagine that space is small in there. The reason for this is that it has to be hidden and this is the only place i could find and works! Believe me!

  • My Equipent
I am using 2 cfl lights. I will give exact wattage when i can. They might not sound much but so far they do their job nicely and i am currently use only 1 of them. My soil is all mix by BioBizz and the butrients i use are biobizz's biogrow and biobloom. The temperatures in the box are around 25-28C (77-83F).

  • My Grow
Being eager to begin growing i made the mistake to start before i would go on holidays but in the end it did not affected growth very much. As long as i was gone i left a bottle dripping next to the plant so it could have water and it being a baby plant i thought it would suffice. Anyway here are some pics, most of them are 2-3 days apart. Last pic is from the first day of week 3 since germination

  • The problem
A couple of days back a leaf was burned, literally burned. It is like it was under the sun for days and yet the light is too far away and the plant in every other aspect is as healthy as it gets for first time at least. One possible reason i could find is that i dropped water with nutrients on it and it was burned but still i think it is unlikely.

Dripping nutes on leaves can definitely burn them but your issues appear to be ph related.:smokebuds:

Ph related? i have a meter and the ph of the soil is at 7!!
Also if it really is ph realted would that not affect the rest of the plant?

looks like its not even in a pot, id be worried that the wood starts rotting tbh, are you getting run-off? first time ive seen a plant in a space like that?

also, I dont grow in soil, but 7 sounds a bit high, sure someone else will clear that up for you.

Yeah, go for 6.5ish in the water in, 6.5 in the water out.
Also, try to plaster the inside with aluminium tape or mylar if you can, something reflective otherwise the lower leaves won't do too well,

The whole box is white so it reflects well enough! I know it is a very small space but i thought i could experiment. Worst that could happen is i dont harvest. Also the box has drain wholes, i could have put a pot in there but i thought liek this i would get as much space as i possibly could!! Anyway most likely the space won't be enough so i will probably not make it to the end. I guess it was wishful thinking but it was worth a shot! Thank you all for the comments and i will inform you on wether i will cut it off or let it and see how it goes

I would not ph the nute unless i have to and if i did it would be no lower than 7.0 before adding nutes

Ive seen countless people ph biobizz ph there water at 6.5 and kill there microlife as the media has bumped the ph lower than 6.0

decent job by the way
biobizz nutes should still be fine at 7.0 in general

you had light scorch and maybe nutrient splash as well

I agree with everything Agito said and with bio bizz i add all my nutes when my water PH is around 7.2 and my ph goes down too around 5.8-5.9 so i add PH up ajusted to 6.7 and my run off sorts its self out to 6.4/ 6.5

Also, instead of chucking it, which seems to me to be an awful waste, why not just get a pc case, remove all the innards, drill out the rivets etc. and start a pc microgrow going? Maybe scrog it to make the most of the space?.
