Canoeing leaves?

I’ve tried raising the 1000 watt hps about 14 inches above the canopy. Keep the room between 70 & 80 with rh around 50-60. The white widows are the only ones affected the purple hulk is fine. Would much appreciate any ideas on if I should even be worried & what to try?

They are in week 6 and have doubled in size in past two weeks.

these purple hulk are in week 7 and doing fine.

Could be as simple as too much heat/light. Do you have a infrared thermometer or have you otherwise measured the temperature the top of the plant canopy?

I know nothing about HPS, but 14 inches from any 1000 watt light, particularly lights now considered inefficient and radiating heat (vs. COBs, QBs, etc.), seems too close.

id say its your light being way to close 1000w is a lot of heat i would higher your light
