I just never saw anything like that patch discoloredness before, but I dont see it on the newest set of leaves. Im always stressed that Im gonna end up wasting a bean somehow.
Had to throw out a post today because the tangerine dream has started taking off. Side branching started on all 4 nodes already, and it had to have grown over 2 inches from yesterday to today. Biggest change Ive seen in a 24 hour span
Lemon tree is definitely growing slower now, hoping after the next couple days it takes of like this one did
Today is day 20, just shy of the end of week 3. Plants are doing great but have been slightly droopy for the past 5ish days. Thinking maybe its because of my lights or my fan, either way they are doing well.
More to catch up on than usual. Topped my plants yesterday at the 5th node on both. Lemon trees nodes are really tightly stacked, where as the tangerine dream has about an inch of space between nodes right now. Side branching on both is heavy even before the top but now 24 hours later and both have gotten bushy as hell.
Watered yesterday too, decided to go a tad bit overboard and gave them each 1.5 gallons. Was more than either needed as it ran off to about 20ish percent. Could also be why they are a bit more droopy today than the past few days.

All in all I am very happy with this run so far, but now that I have my In-House Gen seeds I really wanna get a couple of those germd, the tenptation is staggering, BUT I want to give those the most potential so it will wait for the next grow.
Did a minor defoliation last night. Maybe a little early to pluck leaves but with the top I want the plant to focus on the side branching so I removed a set of fan leaves blocking direct light to them on both plants and did a little lst work on the tangerine.
So just wanted to throw out another update. Not much has changed.
Lemon tree is pulling out of its minor stunt, and the tangerine dream is just going ham.

I noticed this set of large fan leaves on top, on one side have webbed fingers. Looks like its only this set but I wonder what other genetic abnormalities this plant will have. Splotchy coloring, now webbed fingers....
Its grown out of the splotchy discoloration but it appears to be growing in to other things lmao. As long as shes growing and green Im not gonna over think it. Just keep on chugging along.
Thinking with the next watering I will start off feeding at like 450-500ppm and bump it up slowly from there. Theres a lot of washed out feed from the runoff of previous waterings. Im sure its starting to dwindle down in the actual soil.
