What's up! From my first grow I made a bunch of cannabutter. That stuff is now sitting on my shelf, super potent. I have about 400 ml of this stuff and I really don't get high everyday, so I'm wondering best way to store this, maybe even bake it out turn it into something easier to dose and store.

Any suggestions what to turn this into that has a long shelf life?

Thanks
Karl

I store my canna butter in the freezer inside of a zip lock. I also turn it into canna chocolates. I bought the molds from amazon....they have little canna leaves on them. Very easy to dose that way.

Please elaborate about the chocolate recipe. That's interesting.
Super easy...I buy a bag of chocolate chips (we like the ghiradelli 60% cacao). I use the micro wave to melt the chocolate (50% power, 45 seconds at a time...stir in between). To the melted chocolate I add melted canna butter and a 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla...pour into molds. I store them in the freezer until ready to use. FYI...they will be a little melty in temps above about 70-75 due to the butter content. I like it, to be honest...makes them nice and soft after sitting in the car for a few hours. Hope it helps:d5:

I tried and mixed some cannacocobutter and dark chocolate chips. Very tasty and good hitting. Tomorrow I'm gonna make a full batch!
Thanks for the suggestion.

Just made a few of these. Fyi for what it's worth I took 12g of small buds, too tedious to trim well. Ground it up and added it to about 200ml of coconut oil. Heated outside on a stove top thingy. 200 ml is alot. Just used 16ml for these chocolates.

Those look great!!! I really dig the molds you got :slap:. For what its worth (not sure if you just didn't include this step in your description) I decarb my cannabis before extracting it into the oil (well, I use butter).

I decarbed it within the coco oil. Basically ground it up, then heated up the oil outside and added the Cannabis. This was my first try and the oil was so hot it fried the weed. I let it simmer for 10 minutes then strained it. This stuff is Soo dang potent.

Interestingly it gives a very similar high to when smoking this stuff. Just takes 30 minutes to start feeling it.

The molds came from Amazon.

Cool:d5:
In case you're interested for future reference, here is the decarb chart that I reference

I generally bake my cannabis for a half hour at 250F.
