I just checked to see if they needed more water. 1 is cracked and others are in the process. I'm calling it success. We will put them in the dirt tomorrow night.


I'm too impatient the seeds are now inside the dirt. I added 1 cup of water into the solo cup before I placed the seeds in. The time is 9:00pm on Thursday.

[emoji419] Note: The environment was being stubborn so I had to purchase a heater.
Between the humidifier in the heater we have a optimal environment setting during the day. My Assumption is we will be fine at night. The light does nothing for heat.

Some work still needs to be done on the larger tent.

Good morning friends today is Saturday January 21, 2017 8:55am

I made some minor adjustments to the settings. Temperatures locked in at 73 degrees RH 55 percent.

I've been growing under high temperatures since the beginning I want to try really working my setup in unison with all parts . I have not been using my tools to their full potential which is a waste of money.
I'm not the type to throw money out the window.
So, for now on we do things the right way. Play time is over. Work has now started.


The light has been placed 36 from the pots.


We now have 1 plant emerging from the dirt. The time is 1:30pm

[emoji419] Note : The light will remain at 36 inches for a week. Next Saturday we will lower it 6 inches. We will work it down to 18 inches and keep the distance for the time of the grow.

Auto blue number 2 is making her way out.

Today is Sunday January 22, 2017
The time is 8:21 am
Auto blues number 2 is now awake.

Number 3 seems to be growing upside down. Tomorrow we will see how she looks. If she is toast I'll plant another in her place.

Update- I was right she was turned upside down I gently removed her and put her the right way. She is in a rooter so it was easy.

Looks like there is some old tech going on in here. I see the cups and the tier, always makes my heart jump when i see that people still use it.

I do have a question though, why the tier setup? The reason that i ask that was because this method was designed to allow organic growers the chance to lower their male ratio.

Seems to me that the soil is the same in the cup as it in the pot so that is the reason for my question

I'm still a new grower and figuring out what works for me. I just didn't want to have the transplant them so I figured I would try this setup.

The time is 8:28am

We will start using the Overgrow product from the birth of the plants.

With 1 gentle squeeze mist each. Probably start today after lights out.

"Mist cuttings or seedlings every other day, until plants are ready for Grow".

Best sprayed in full sunlight or when lights turn on.

The night time temperatures will be 72 degrees.

The light schedule will be changed today to 18/6. 12pm-6pm they will be off.

Lights are out let's how much do environment changes, I'll check in a 1/2 hour.

The heater was dropped to 72 degrees.

I know it's not needed but I would like to start practicing good habits. I will use this handheld light to observe the plants when the lights are off.

I also noticed the the humidity spikes up when the light is off. So the humidifier was turn off.

Today's problem:
I have two ways of reading the temperature. 1 is brand new and is installed in the heater for a Digital reading.

The 2nd is my hygrometer, which I had since I started growing about a year. More or less. It has been dropped a number of times.

I'm getting 2 different readings. I don't know which 1 to trust.

I'm leaning more towards the 1 on the heater.

There is a 10 degree difference in monitors.

1st I will change the batteries in the hygrometer.

After changing the batteries I'm getting a better reading from the hygrometer.
[emoji625]Tip: Every grow change out all batteries as to get a accurate reading from devices.

[emoji625]Tip: When the light is turned on, an ideal temperature for the cuttings and seedlings is between 68ºF and 77ºF (20ºC and 25ºC).

As the plants get older they can evaporate a little bit more and the temperature may increase to a maximum of 82ºF (28ºC). When the lights are off, the temperature should lie between 62ºF and 72ºF (17ºC and 22ºC).

Another important rule is that the temperature differences between day and night cannot be too high, a maximum difference of 10ºC. So when it’s 82ºF (28ºC) during the day, it cannot go below 64ºF (18ºC) at night. A temperature difference of 5ºC is ideal.
