Cannabis Salve Healing

Interesting, I bought a slow cooker with a high setting max. out to eight hours at 197 F. Used 3 (possibly slightly more water) to 1 about 32 OZ. coco. Noted boiling on high. Checked temp. and it was 210 F. Set to low. Later to medium and after an hour low boil. Now, on low for duration. Going to go beyond 12 hours.

Ought to still be OK. Thought I'd mention it.

Sorry, I didn't see this til now...

How did it turn out?
32 oz coconut oil? How much cannabis did you use?

You going to ingest or make a balm?

inquiring minds want to know.

There was one member that just took the strained scraps in a sock that they kept in a sock in the freezer and took out to rub on problematic areas and said it did wonders...

Cool, I haven't heard of doing that before.

I'm wondering what Emu fat extract would do. It has penetrating (via-skin) abilities nearly un-matched according to research I have done. Though you have been using on wounds. I'm thinking more along the lines of arthritis or more sub-dermal problems. Some of your top-shelf chain store products for sub-dermal problems esp. in sport stresses use Emu oil to penetrate. Have you tried, thought about, or used?

I have not used Emu oil. I was told it is irritating (or hot) to some people.
But I have heard that it extracts cannabinoids very well and is very good for the skin. So if you can use it it should work great!

Thanks! I might just buy a store brand make a strong coco extract and infuse/mix into and try when sore or when wife complains of sore back which is often due to medical condition. I might get some bonus points :)

Ahhh, the famous Poultice. Yes I have heard of a gramma or two using this for the Ol' Rheumatism. In India it is commonplace (so I have read) to use a form of Bhang for pains placed right on the wound.

Eek

Edit: I am on a roll tonight, I spelled Rheumatism, and simultaneously BOTH without getting little red squiggly lines under the words.

Bonus points are good and this will work great for a sore back or muscles.

The member had bad nerve problems especially in their feet. I would think if you had fiery pain that stuck around like that, some nursing would be in order and an item like the sock would probably work nicely. Thanks for all the hard work ya'll!

Ingesting the infused coconut oil helps soreness too.
I had some in my oatmeal this morning and it kept me not hurting and being so stiff with the cold today.
And I was pretty active emptying our closet to make room for growing.
I wasn't "high" just not as sore.

When I get my next order of coconut oil and bees wax I am going to experiment on making foot soaks and bath soaks.
I'm gonna make bath bombs for a friend of mine. Should be interesting...
The only thing with bathing in it is it is slippery, be careful getting out.
