Nutrients Canna Mono Calcium contains 5.5% Nitrogen

Calcium chloride is presumably a very strongly ionized salt. I recall the calcium in CALiMAGic (1-0-0) is all or mostly calcium complexed with carbohydrate (sugar polymer) complexes(?), surely much less disruptive vs. a chloride salt.

Calcium nitrate can be good in base nutrients, providing both bioavailable Ca and N with 1 ingredient. For ex., I recall that MegaCrop uses calcium nitrate.

Doh... didn't mention again: RDWC. With soil I'd likely use mix dolomite.

Wouldn't use minerals nutes on soil unless foliar feeding during veg for some reason (with the soil covered). But never really needed that if the soil was mixed properly and ripened(for lack of a better term).

i'm a hydro man myself, never really got on good terms with mother earth
