Hello AFN! After the success of my (currently ongoing) first grow, I have decided to go in a slightly different direction for my second and try a scrog in an attempt to squeeze as much bud out of my little tent as i possibly can! I have gone for candy kush as its a strain i have always wanted to try and it's quite a quick one so hopefully i can get in on BAM SLAM next year. I'm using 20 litre air pots and ive drilled holes in the bases to drain water and I've got a couple of trays under for now until i can think of something better! Okay so here's my inventory:

-Seeds: Autoseeds Candy Kush x2

-Environment: 80×80×160 growtent

-Lights: 400w HPS

-Soil: PM soil supreme

-Pots: 20 Litre Air pots

-Exhaust: Vents TT 100 extractor with carbon filter

- Air intake: Passive

- Nutes: Biobizz grow, bloom, top max and root juice

- Fan: 7" electric clip on fan and 50cm tower fan

-Bamboo scrog net

This is a photo of the drainage trays, and one of the whole tent ready for seeds to go in tomorrow complete with late finisher from my first grow. I've given the soil a good soaking and im going to leave it overnight to soak in good and proper!

And heres a little sneak peak of the scrog frame.... it took my bloody ages to build so i hope it works! I've cut a hole out for the tower fan so i can get good air circulation above and below the canopy, and i have to say im quite proud of myself, the whole system fits together nicely! I just hope it all works smoothly haha!

This is going to be a good one, thanks for coming along for the ride!

Peace out AFN!

"Munch..munch..munch :vibes:

Looks great dread! Ive been wanting to try a scrog myself..def gonna be watch'n and learn'n. Good luck on round 2!

very nice setup i love that you put the effort into building this DIY bambuk scrog! i will be following this.

I got a few questions
1. I can see many people around not using bio heaven and bio algamic or fish mix whats going on?

2. I would like to run a scrog setup for my next run with dutchpassion thinkdifferent, i got 800watts+ in 1.20*.120*2.00 how many plants would you suggest me to put and what size of pots for maximum yield?

3. Is the net 30cm above the pot?

4. Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I just hope the scrog can keep it under control.. they are big pots and quite a small tent! I'm feeling confident though. Soil should be nice and warm and damp as it's been soaked and left under lights overnight so seeds going in as soon as the baby goes down for her nap. Then it's my least favourite part.... waiting! Thanks for all the support, LET'S GROW SOME BUD!

Hey kosher buddy! This is my first scrog and only my second grow, so as of yet im not very experienced but I'll try to answer your questions. Thanks for stopping by brother.

1) I dont have a lot of cash at the moment to get tonnes of bottles unfortunately, and i still have a load of the biobizz nutes left from my first grow. Id like to experiment with nutes, and i would love to try out tangs feed scedule, but for now im going to keep it simple!

2) I had trouble deciding on pot size/number two, and tbh until the plants are growing i wont have a clue if igot it right! The kush is mostly idica so hopefully wont get too out of hand! TD is a sativa and ive seen them get really big so i would be a bit more carefull.... if you used a big pot i would probably just do one and get it huge!

3) I'm suspending the net with para cord so i can adjust the height as i need it. I was thinking more like 20cm above the soil, about 7-8 inches, this seems to be what most of the advice says for autos.

4) no worries dude i hope it helps!

Thanks for the i n f o i`ll guess i`ll run a thread when that day comes:) i just love to be ready you know..
