Can you clone autos??

:head: Cool thread. Would be neat to see a bunch of diff experiments w/ it to see if a viable/sensible method is out there... y'know, one that would allow some growth to occur.
I wonder if there is a way to temporarily shut off the auto trait for a minute to allow for some veggie growth. A puberty halter. If anyone has some, I want it for my 12 y.o. daughter!

super autos
Super Autos??? Like super fast?

Thanks so prop and clone is the same thing? Prop is just another word for clone?

I thought a prop was just a new plant just getting its roots, or propagating. Regardless if its from seed or clone. But in the above context, t'would mean a young clone.
But, all my experience is with garden plants, mostly vegetables, so I could be wrong. Im sure not all the vocab translates flawlessly...

So a "super" auto takes longer to finish than a "regular" auto?

Id love to have a garden full of healthy female autos. And I cant afford seeds, and have never done any seed breeding. Thats why I would be interested. Also, Im new to autos, and am mostly just curious and trying to learn a lil about em...

I think a more viable way would be to keep a photo plant and root system going that you graft cuttings from autos to.
Now thats an interesting idea. Would be cool to have a smorgusboard plant! I wonder if just the auto graft would flower, or if it would grow any first...

Damn. Get a good thread going and wifey needs the CPU... Figures.

If one grafts the same genetic strain (ie. bubba x bubba) by using a ideal male and ideal female cut in veg, and then has the male pollen sex the female pistils during flowering, what is the outcome of the progeny seeds?

Is it even possible? Is it just like sexing a nongrafted male with nongrafted female? Or will there be differences? It only makes sense that there will be differences comparing the two, but advantage vs disadvantage I do not know.

Interesting thread tho that's for sure. Makes one think.... hmmm....
