Can you clone autos??

Just wondering if this was possible?
Has anyone tried it? Do you keep the light cycle the same as the other autos?
I was reading somewhere that if you do clone, take the cut about 20-30 minutes after you water... but I wasnt sure if they were talking about auto's or just female plants.

you can clone anyting bro...even yourself now a days...hahahaha

the thing w/ autos is they are on a stop watch that if interrupted will stunt the plant and have little to no yield...

Also an auto clone is the same age as the actual plant it's takin from and you can not prolong the veg time due to there auto flowering. Therefore your clone will not yield much at all.

Why does no one regenerate their plants here? You just cut the buds off at harvest and it will grow again. Maybe not as much but why kill a perfectly good plant. I have one exceptional auto in this batch I'm going to let regenerate to see how it goes but I've heard of a bunch of guys on RIU and Grasscity do this successfully.

thats what i was thinking also.... my haze plant is looking like it might be a good candidate but then again i hardly read about people cloning their autos or starting a thread on them =(

but like you said, i would really hate to kill off a good plant if i could just keep taking cuttlings off of it each time

You can make a prop from an auto... I have one that's over 100 days old and three that I am currently getting established. http://www.autoflower.org/f5/prop-seed-run-4252.html

I do it strictly to have a separate plant for seed production and it gives me the flexibility to pollinate late if I want. As you can see, the prop is a very thick bud at this point. Had I left it on the plant, it would have produced much less on that branch. But, if it wasn't carrying seeds, it wouldn't be wirth the trouble yo me. It doesn't take up any room I need, so I'm letting it grow yhis one time, out of curiosity.

Why does no one regenerate their plants here?
Unless you can't make seeds or can't afford seeds, this not an effecient use of space or electricity, IMO. I usually have a sexed plant or an almost sexed plant ready to replace an harvested plant. The growth rate on "regenerated" plants is slowwwww... would never come close to matching the production of a newly blooming plant... for novelty purposes only, as far as I've seen.

Joe dirt is there a difference between a prop and a clone? If so what is it?

Has anyone tried a liquid culture 'clone' w/ an auto? I wonder if that would 'reset' the clock.
