Indoor Can you clone an autoflower plant?

Some dude, who didn't seem to know what he was talking about, tried explaining it to me. Is it even possible? If so, can you explain how that works? I'm very interested.

It is possible. But not worth it. Since autoflowers flower based on age and not light regime. So the possibility is there but may not be worth it

Some people will clone off branches to have a controlled seed run where they do not risk seeding out the whole plant. They can also allow it to go some extra time to ripen seeds.

Torch that is a great suggestion, never occured to me. Seeded my last lot totally randomly and picked out the best seeds. I've end up with a couple of hundred seeds (after sorting and grading) plant about a dozed most of which have come through nicely but what a pain in the ass it was picking seeds out of my dope when all I wanted to do was toke!
A small clone and controlled fertilisation is a great idea but when is the best time to clone? Any ideas?

Yeah you can clone a Auto I only tried once but it worked I would suggest that it be a amazon or super auto ie one that is bigger and takes a bit longer just my 2c The one I did it with was a Auto AK47 that got almost 4 feet and I broke a branch by mistake put it in a clone gel cup and it made roots it was in flower mode grew to about 15 in if I remember good and yeilded ahh maybe 12-15 grams or so dont remember but its poss..
