Sorry bud but your way off. Its made from freeze dried hash. You maybe thing of "frosin", that's when you freeze fresh cut buds and press. It's very difficult to do, but when you get it right its awesome. To much water parchment just gets soaked most of the time. I have given up on that way. See live rosin you need to make ice water bubble hash, and freeze dry the hash. Then you press the hash into rosin. You have to freeze dry it because some terpenes evaporate while hash dries normally. You lose flavor with these terpenes so that why it necessary to freeze dry. That's my issue no freeze dryer or access to 1. There like 2000.00 bucks seen used 1s for like 1300.00. You can make good tasting hash but not the same as live rosin. I gave up and went to live resin with bho. If you have ever had good live resin you you what the "live" parts means, insane flavor. Another level next to rosin. I am a flavor chaser for sure, I had some live resin buddy gave me from dispensary in Mass. Taste so much like blueberry was like eating a peice of blueberry candy lol. I also made cbd crack live resin and again the mango too is nutz. I just keep dabbing it because the taste is so strong. I dont even like mango but love smoking something with that much flavor. I tried pressing fresh cut bud no luck again to much water. I have tried letting it dry like 1-3 so I get rid of some h20 but not dried off terps. Just as hard as the fresh frozen bud lol. If I had a freeze dryer I would chop plant freeze dry buds then press them. The top quality rosin comes from hash that why they freeze dry hash. Well I make rosin from flower so if I freeze dried flower rosin from that flower should have that "live" taste I think. If I ever get access I will find out.

Theoretically, a good frost-free freezer could work for slow freeze-drying. I recall 'frost-free' involves condensing/removing water vapor from the air within a freezer, with this resulting in evaporation of exposed frost (frozen water) in the freezer.

More reliable and faster, you can freeze-dry by sealing up and freezing your material with a silica gel packet or other water vapor adsorbent.

Check out PurePressure on YouTube they're legit, they make some next level rosin. I want to try dry sifting but no access to dry ice. Use to be a place like 10mins from my house but they went out of business years ago lol. Does dry sift have to dry? If so that's where a problem may be, if not that may work good. Would like to try cause bubble hash sucks. Its a lot of work and takes good bit to produce enough hash for the work you do. Although the smell in the air was killer!

I've seen guys rig a vacuum chamber in a freezer.

Your correct, but bubble can't be made and get a decent return in warm conditions. Worked great when I lived in Oregon. It's a mess in central California. Winters aren't even cold enough.

Yeah, I did my bubble in February garage was around 30°-40°. October is when I'd buy dry ice and do a year long run then. I could use Halloween as why I need it. Never bought dry ice, but afraid they would ask why I need so much lol.
