New Grower can i get watering advise help? thanks

I have started af. in root trapper 5 gal. with kindsoil and cocoloco. two plants about inch tall. how should I be watering? as far as amount of watering? do they need much less water when starting off? thanks for any help explaining whats going on with the plants needs on watering. thanks.

yes they need much less starting out. At 2 inches I would be spraying.Just enough to let them know someone out there loves them. I spray only everyday and sometimes twice a day until spraying is no longer a convenient way to water. Then I switch to the can and by then you can really pour it on because they can drink a lot of water when they are vigorously growng leaves and stems. My 3 gal Hudson sprayer is the best $30 I ever spent.

Lately I have been using Coco Loco/perlite. Loving the roots I get. I give my 3 gallon pots roughly 1 quart water/feed every other day. And the 5 gallon pots I give roughly 2 quarts water/feed every other day. I am happy with the size of my plants.
