Lighting Can grow lights cause eye damage?

How it is in reality with led light containing UV ?
Can grow lights cause any damage?

Before i even read your links- im going to say without a doubt yes. Hps and high powered leds will harm your eyes- a lot of led companys now make or provide grow glasses.
I wouldnt advise working directly under the lights for long either- turn them off or move the plants away, no point taking a risk with your health.

For a long while I have been wearing shade 3 welding glasses for the led lights I use.

@temple_of have a look at these. I've just got a pair and they're awesome! the tent looks like it's under a t5 when wearing these. Why pay £80/80$ for method seven glasses when these are so cheap...
