:pighug: Hang tough brother Bushy! ....get the kids to help, that's you had them for!

How are those buds from the last round treating you?
Nate has been scarce lately,.... Too bad!

So far I'm loving this light, so much better than even the COB's! One thing I'm not seeing now is the apparent "permanent" mild Mg defc. symptoms that appeared on every plant to varying degrees... Same nutes, KIS soil amendment stuff, so that's out as a potential factor; but it really never was, since the Rx Blend nutes and everything else did the same thing! A second round starts pretty soon, so we'll see better then, but I don't believe this is a cultivar-depenedent thing in any case....
Sorry I haven't been as active as I'd like to be. I've been bouncing around the country doin trade shows and on-site visits with my commercial clients. How's everything going? Can I do anything to better support you guys?

:pighug:Nate buddy, sounds like you've burning your dong at both ends lately! :coffee::rofl:

Nothing but good results and good news my friend :d5:... you've seen how phat Bushy''s buds are turning out, and my first round is done too (I'm in Organics),.... Excellent stuff this round, I can attribute this to the lights in good part for sure... The start was slow, I thought I might have a batch of runts, but they cranked up the boost late veg'- early bloom and got to just-right size in the end! ....Early bud set was as good as it gets .... now one caveat is, as mentioned, I do put the girls out to Sunbath mid-bloom on for several hours for that UV potency boost, but the density and trich development even early on was notable better than the AutoCOB's :greenthumb:

I'm with Bushy on the DLI max'ing with these lights, I saw borderline light stress at 20/4 so I went 18/6... I kept the light at recommended distances best I could, but some tops did get within a foot or so, but symptoms were far less pronounced unlike the COB's at that distance... I really love how well it covers so evenly, edge to edge!
A new round is under way now,... photo kids loved it in there for 2 weeks as well before they went outside... I'm a happy camper mate, thank you again!
You're welcome to use any pics in my thread if you like, Bushy too I imagine! :toke:

Hey Waira, my dong is definitely cherried at both ends:hothot: I'm glad to hear you're happy with with the IB. I've been working closely with our testers and reaching out to follow up with everyone who has made the switch to FTG. So far the results have been amazing across the board (yeilds up to 2.75lb in a 4x4). Can't tell you enough how important your feedback is to continuing to improve our lighting. Through working with growers like yourself, Bushy, and the rest of the FTG family, I've been able to collect a ton of valuable data that will not only make a few improvements to our Gen 2 IB140s, but allow me to help other growers continue to improve their results with every cycle. Though Bushy and a few other auto growers had to find out the hard way on their first run, I think it's impressive that these boards are meeting optimal DLI at 15-16 hrs with only 560w. This should really help reduce the cost of production and allows just enough time for growers to avoid peak hours during the hot summer months. I'd love to hear more about your first run and see if I may be able to help tweak anything that needs tweaking. I'll shoot you an email on Monday and make some time to chat if you want to talk shop for a bit. Hope all is well and Happy Growing! :growing::jointman:

Time for another update. We got day 44 for the two Twenty20Mendocino Purple Biscauto, Snow-G and day 34 on Glue Sniffer. We've been dealing with huge heatwave of fluctuations so trying to keep things going best I can. Running my FTG Lighting at 16/8 schedule which has been working great with plants getting their daily DLI and starting tonwant to sleep at 16hrs in. More or less my humidity stay at 40-50% but I'm also in monsoon season right now. The tent temps I'd like to get little cooler but my portable AC in room is having issues with keeping the whole room cooled so 85-87f is my normal high with more constant staying around 80f.

I'm on day 56 for the Twenty20Mendocino Purple Biscauto and Snow-G. Then the Glue Sniffer at day 46 is making a huge comeback stretch. I've had some days with higher heat then what I've wanted and now with monsoon season fluctuations of humidity. Taking it all in stride to the end.
