Hi guys, starting a new one now! Back to autos after a few months of outdoor sativa growing!, need a rest! haha.

So I have started two seedlings from Royal Queen, a Cream Caramel and a Blueberry, planted directly on soil (peat + worm castings + perlite + compost of my own), popped out at 4 days, almost simultaneously. Not much going on for the time being, hopefully growing some nice roots under there!

Using 12 lts. pots, nothing special but have worked fine for me in the past (hopefully in the future I will get myself some airpots), watering recovered rain water (pH 6.5-6.7) and will use organic nutes with some calmag supplementation as from week two. My lighting schedule is 20/4 with a 135W UFO LED + 2 105W CFLs in a 120x60x150 cm. tent. Temps are a little high now, around 30C and 60% RH, although the seedlings like it warm, I hope we will soon get some milder weather.

Cheers! :Sharing One:

Day 10 Cream Caramel & Blueberry

Day 9&10 for my Cream Caramel & Blueberry respectively, not much happening, hopefully lots of underground root development!
Struggling a little bit with temps here, it's been over 30C for a week now, and growth is a little bit delayed for my taste, but anyway they look good, with a second set of leaves sprouting.

I've added a portable air conditioner to the room were the tent is and I've managed to lower the temps to 25C, with 43% RH... that's the way...ahaha I like it!

So anxious, this is the time when growth starts! man I can't wait!

Day 14 Cream Caramel & Blueberry

Little Sunday update, two weeks now, things are starting to work, both plants have shown a third set of leaves and some upward growth as you can see. Temps are still a little high, in the 30's so I manage to bring it down to 25-26C lights on, and 21-24C lights off, RH is stable @ 40-50% so should be ok for the girls. Just fed for the first time some mild organic nutes and epsom salts.

Also a quick glance at my outdoor Sati Princess...this one goes alone, just good ol' mother nature, sun, home-made compost and rain water:

Day21 Blueberry & Cream

The girls are starting to push up...placed the lights a little bit higher (60 cm.) for them to stretch out. The Cream already stinks a Skunky aroma! and I think has suffered a little bit of heat stress the past week with a little tip burn on the lower leaves, apparently not in the newer ones as you can see:

The Blueberry has a healthy appearance, is a tiny little bit higher, and seems unaffected:

One more pic of both:

I am willing to LST these two girls, but will start maybe in a week.
Also, I have started brewing my own compost tea! Very excited about it, just a small aquarium bubbler, a cup of my own compost in a 8 ltr bucket for 36 hours:

Been feeding light organic veg nutes as from day 10 and weekly with epsom salts. Tonight will be their first feed with the tea.

Have nice sunday!

Bluematic & Creamatic Day 26

Girls are stretching out quite nicely and started some LST today. I was planning on starting earlier but I felt I could stunt them cause they're struggling with high temps and their growth was a little slow. Trying the pipe cleaner method, hope they like it!.

CREAM:

Still some decoloration in the lower leaves, not in the new growth. I'm feeding with epsom salts weekly and her Blue neighbour doesn't show any problem:

BLUE:

Both seem very happy, fed with organic nutes and compost tea weekly, under a 135W Led + 2 105W CFLs.

Say goodbye girls!!

Bluematic & Creamatic day 29

Lots of LST going on here, girls seem to like it, especially the Blueberry, fed with compost tea and organic veg nutes today + epsom salts. Cream is stinking skunkiness everywhere...

Both have shown their sex and look happy, some pics:

Day 35 Update Bluematic + Creamatic

Everything seems on track here, after a slow start, both are now getting bushy and growing with an inch of internodal space, although I'm trying to keep them low with LST (I think I will stop harassing them for a while haha). Lights (LED + CFLs) are at 50 cm. height, probably will lower down the CFLs to get some side light. The main stem in both plants are getting really thick now and I can see bud sites coming up everywhere.

Feeding with organic veg nutes, epsom salts once a week, and compost tea.

This morning:

As you can see, Cream is getting over the leaf discoloration she showed at the beginning, not sure if it was calmag def (too early...) or prolly a slight nute burn and heat stress, or maybe she's more sensitive than her neighbour. Bluematic is happy and seems to be an easy grow.

BTW I just threw a new Bluematic in a glass of water, hope she sinks and goes in the ground in a few days, will try a new soil of my own in an airpot (home-made haha).

Cheers! and have a nice weekend!

Bluematic & Creamatic Day 40

My girls have exploded the last few days, making me feel very proud of them, they are sprouting some bud sites everywhere...LST has worked fine on them, both love it!

Cream:
CreamDay40.jpg
She has overcome the tip burn you can still see in the lower fan leaves.

Blue:
BlueDay40.jpg
This is a pretty girl, flowering is slightly advanced compared to the Cream

Lowered a little the lights today and added a fan for temp control (still hot down here!)

Feeded Veg organic nutes, and epsom salts, and did some supplemental LST.
