Indoor Buddha seeds magnum and flash seeds kush van stitch grow

Teach me, Obi-Wan. We basically have the same setup - you just do it much better than I do. I'm starting to think I don't even need those side spots after looking at your grow. You're running two 400 watt LEDs in there, correct? Is that it? Your results are amazing! I can't wait to get that Kush Van Stitch and get her growing.

I've heard so many different things about pot size. I was told an auto wouldn't fill out a 5 gallon pot, so to use a 3 gallon at the most. I think this proves otherwise. I have tons of 5 gallon and bigger SP's lying around, as we use them to grow a lot of food in the summer.

Also - are you able to get into your tent from both sides? I can't with my configuration, so it kind of sucks for watering. But, I want to fill the whole tent if possible, like you have. What is your opinion on bottom watering with smart pots via the flood tray? Say, if you were to do all one strain in the tent?

Awesome grow. You've inspired me. I still need to go back and read through the whole thread, but from what I've seen, you really know what you are doing. And I like that you are basically using the same methods as me, just employing them much better.

Thanks, man :Sharing One:

Hello Nordlich, Thanks for the kind words!!! I am no where near where I want to be on my plants, but workin on it!! You can fill a 5 gallon pot full of roots with autos!! These Magnums filled the 5 gallon smartpots with roots!!! On the side spot lights, it cant hurt using them. You could try them without and see if it makes a difference. On the mt LED's, they are Solar Storm 400's(California Lightworks) and each panel runs 230w in veg, 320w in bloom and 345w in bloom with UVB(for trich production). These LED's are 5w diodes and are tanks!! My tent unzips alll the way around, so YES i can get to them if needed. I DO NOT move my plants during their grow, I dont even turn them(theory is they will use energy to face the light if you turn them, instead of focusing on growing). I know some guys turn their plants a few times a day and I personally think its a waste of time and energy.
I use a simple feed plan with Advanced Nutes, https://www.autoflower.org/f26/tangs-feeding-schedule-21301.html and I use a few more additives. Botanicare cal/mag +, Botanicare Silica blast, House and garden roots excellerator, couple different mycos herds and I put an airstone in my water for a few days before I mix my nutes.(more dissolved oxygen for the roots).

I dont think I would try to bottom water in smartpots on a flood tray. It would probably be a bitch to keep RH% stable or could start a mold problem and what not. Or the water in the flood tray could swing the PH. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. I have not seen a journal here with a grow style like that. Doesn't mean it wouldn't work, but my motto is, keep it simple and dont do any more than what you have to. You would sh*t if I told you I only checked this tent every couple days on this grow and that they practically grew themselves. All I did was follow directions from things I read here, picked up the pots every 2-3 days to check if they needed water and feed, and chopped!!!

As far as knowing what I am doing???? I do my research(alot of it) research it some more, then apply it. I can grow some good plants, but not like some of these other guys in soil and soiless mediums. There are 4 things that stand out in all my research here.....
1- An underfed plant is easier to diagnose than an over fed plant, if there is a problem.
2- Calibrate your pen more than recomended
3-feed the roots, not the plant!!!!
4- bigger pots=bigger plants
Hope this helps, and I do appreciate the kind words. If you have any questions, pm me
If you cant get to all sides on your tent the way it is set up, dont fill it so full. I know you want to maximize you grow space but there is a problem with plants depriving each other with light. I did that with this grow, and if I ran this strain again in this 4X4 tent I would only do 4 Magnums in 5 gallon pots!!! They do get huge!!! I would LOVE to see one of these DWC floks grow this strain out!!! :peace:

This was a great read, awesome grow!!!! N 772g dried bud makes you a fxcking winner my friend! Hats off to you

Awesome grow .Whats tangs Nute schedule. Also when you have some time I would like to ask you a few question if you could give me some of your time. Thanks in advance if so

Hey All!! Quick update on the ladies. day 32 on the Magnums in 5 Gallon pots. They are at 13-14 inches tall, but 21-22 wide!! Turning into bushes!!! Day 28 on the Kush Van Stitch. The 5 gallon pot is only 8-9 inches tall, and is 18-19 inches wide. The 2 kvs in 2 gallon pots are doing great as well and am not really worried with them at the moment, but I may have to pitch em if they end up not getting any light from the other Ladies in bigger pots(great problem to have I guess). Lights are at 24 inches. RH is steady at 45% and PH is spot on at 6.5 Now for some pics.

Any Comments or questions, Please feel free. Does anyone think the bigger plants will eventually drown out the smaller pots?? This is a 4 x 4 tent and there is a bit of room if I move things around. What do you all think?

I'm always using small skinny boxes in my tent to raise smaller plants to the level of the taller plants. If you're going to toss a plant anyway, I'd trim it to just a cola to see what happens. Here's a pic when I did that to a plant in one cup of soil. Yes, one cup of soil. Obviously not taking up any room. I stacked it on a box, and it got to the light with the others.
Hey! your grow is AMAZING!
