How much wind is to much wind. I have a fan turned around blowing at the wall instead directly at my plants because I felt bad for the girls getting so much wind the whole time. Even with an oscillating fan, it was allot of direct hits.

Start off with fan blowing from very beginning and they will toughen up to it. Think about outside air, they can withstand some strong gust. I'm running 4 fans in a 6x8 and all on high blowing at plants from top down.

yeah totally...young exposure toughens them up against wind and in the end it will only increase stalk size and rigidity.
